Wouldn't ya know it, I haven't had the opportunity to test out the truck fully since the accident and the first good chance I had ended up being cut short but chalk up another Jeep stoplight victory! I got lined up with a beautiful black 2007 E55 on the way back from the ATM (running to yanx game now) and took him by a car length until we both had to back off, got a nice conversation from a cool owner, asked me to run on the highway but I had to go, such a shame :) He prob would have slaughtered me at higher speeds, but I had to feel good about my quick run!

what speed sis you race to. My brother has an e55. We have never lined up sunce he is in fl, I can tell you I'd beat him to maybe 40mph but then he's leave me like I was parked. He runs 12.3 bone stock.

Congrats Steve. However, are you sure it was a E55 and not the E63? The reason I say this is because Mercedes stop building the E55 in 2006. There were no 2007 models. Mercedes for the model year 2007 went with the E63 which is naturally aspirated and not supercharged. A little slower for the Mercedes enthusiast.

Had 2 Jeeps, have the 211.....the jeep will pull forward to around 30, then my E will just pull away from it. Forget at higher speeds.

sorry 2BAD, you are right, it was a 2006, but def. the E55, you could hear the supercharger whine and I saw the rear end before pulling even at the light. . . and for untouchable, we got to about 60 before we shut it down due to upcoming traffic, I was impressed with the way the jeep held off the benz, so was the benz driver! The guy's smile was priceless when we got back even after we slowed:D
