Went to the SRT Track Exp. on 7/31. For those who haven't been to one, the Day is divided into four segments and one of which is where you get to drive the Vipers. In the past this was a fun event because you could really put the Viper through it paces. NO MORE, now you get to putt putt around the course in the Viper. Seeing this, I took the Charger (no ESP on) which they allowed me to run hard, so I had a little bit more fun than those Putt putting around the course in the Vipers. Hopefully at other tracks this may not be the case because at Englishtown the area is a little confined, not to much room for error, when I attended this event at Mt. Pocono we had scads of room on a small track rather than a Parking lot. Still I had a great time, as I always do (3rd time). Just shows to go yah, one AHole can F*&% it up for everyone. The GCSRT8's continue to impress everyone, they ran a GCSRT8 with the Vipers during the Hot Laps but it couldn't keep up with them. Sort of wish the Challengers were there.

We ran the Vipers pretty hard at the Daytona, FL one...We were drifting them around turns. A guy did almost hit a shed that was near the course. We had to stay in 1st gear but it was still alot of fun.

Same thing happened on the first say of a two day event at VIR. Definitely sucked for the rest of us on the second day.

At the SRT experience in Vegas a guy went sideways into the gravel and broke the front air dam and got rocks in the body panels. We only had one Viper after that but we still ran them pretty hard.

Damn thats crazy...stinks they didnt let you rip her around the course.

I wonder if they fix up the banged up Vipers from these events and sell them as CPO's :roller:
