My trip from VA to OH this week netted me a solid 17 mpg hghway! That's a new high for my 7k mile GC SRT-8. Who says these things can't get decent mileage? ;)

I'm getting 12.3 MPG average - Not bad! There's a fair bit of WOT included in that.

I think that will improve with more miles

Ditto. I am at 12.9 MPG - all of my driving is in the city, and I am @ WOT 50% of the time.

It may get slightly better. I have had many vehicles that the mileage never changed. I average about 12.5, combo of city /Highway. If I am easy on the gas I can get 17 on the Highway....but you know how hard it is to go easy on the gas?

PsychoSRT8, I was getting the low mileage figures in the first 500 miles, but it starts to go up quickly. I am now at 3400 and am getting 13.9 all around.

I was averaging 10.6 mostly city driving, the ocaisional blast from the lights to show off. Put on the Mopar CAI and now I am getting 9.7, I know I am punching it more often because it sounds great, but I am begining to get concerned that something might not be tuned right?

Same here on repeated trips of 550 miles...from FL flat to rolling hills into mountains of GA and TN. 16.5 to 17mpg according to evic with no trailer. With trailer and motorcycles, about 2800 lbs., drops to 12.8 to 13.3 at same speeds on same trip.

I'm getting a solid 15 mpg at 70 mph. The CAI may cause the PCM to richen the mixture, moving the MAT Sensor may also help mileage. After I replaced my muffler my mileage went up some but now is back to what it was before. (again the PCM adjusting to the change) I'm also running a 190* thermostat that will reduce mileage too. AWD does take away some mileage as the LX Cars get 20 plus mpg. MHO Gene

8mpg so far, then again it's barely got 50 miles on it LOL

I love the digital oil pressure/oil temp guages on the multi-display too!

Tied you on the mileage man. And I'm running quite abit of full throttle, if I don't hit the rev limiter at least once a day something ain't right.

If i was worried about economy I would have bought a Civic, I bought this Jeep to drive the piss out of it. :D

11.5 mostly city but with less than 200 miles on her.

First trip on the freeway yesterday. At 70 is it normal
to be cranking out 2500 rpm?

I average 15 w/no highway. It's not bad for 4800lb/420hp/3.73. In comparison my '70(before resto) ~3700lb/375hp/3.23= ~13mpg.

I'm averaging 13.6 miles from brand new to 2663 mi. Mixed driving mostly. Not too bad really as my 4.7 H.O. gets me around 15 for the same driving.

I'm currently averaging 9.1 mpg city and 9.2 mpg highway. I have about 300 miles. Granted I'm a little too friendly with the gas pedal at each light (why I think most, if not all of us, got this car), but is this normal? Is this simply because I haven't driven it enough yet or do you guys think it's not tuned correctly?

I see about 16mpg in the Cherokee, and 18ish in the Charger SRT8.

Pretty good for 6.1L and over 400hp!

Well drove from florida to philly got 15.2 avg..at 70mph

but when i have others passing me i tend to juice it alittle and that sends it down to about 10.0

but was fairly impressed with that long drive..and gas prices ..
