Well I finally had the opportunity to race the car that I had been wanting to race since I purchased the jeep back in 2006. Now mind you, this viper was completely stock and on stock street tires, but still, the fact that our cars can keep up with these $85,000 sports cars is quite unbelievable. So, I'll get to the actual story now. We line up, at a light, he gives it a little gas, and so I know it's on! I stall it to about 1500 rpms and the light hits green and I take off. My car SHOOTS OFF LIKE A ROCKET and I hear him spinning through first. He was in my mirror all the way up to 95 mph! Finally, at about 105 mph he blows past me. Then, and the next light, he waves his hand at me to roll down my window, and he's like HOLY SH** what's in that thing, I never thought they were that fast. I just responded with, well I have this really loud exhaust but other than that it's stock! LOL

What I noticed when at the LX Shindig, it is VERY hard to beat our rigs from a dig.
Our factory 60 foot times are better than most semi-modified vehicles.
Watch the hell out after 1/8 mile (actually a little sooner) those guys come on STRONG!
Making your typical races short is our best hope.
