This is incredible that my old iphone updated to the 2.0 does not work with the uconnect. Anyone know of a fix for the 06's and 07's without the mygig???? I've searched all over google and can't find anything yet. Granted, there are like a million people complaining in the same boat.

i have an old iphone that updated to 2.0 and it works fine with uconnect. i think i updated the phone before i set it up with the car. have you tried to erase the phone from the car and re sync it?

but on another note, when i have an incoming call how do i make it so i only use my phone and the call i not played over the car audio? i know four buttons come up on my iphone but obviously the call comes in when im driving so i dont really have the time to stare at my phone and see what my options are.

LOL you need to re-pair the phone with the truck. Erase existing phone, reconnect new one. iPhone 2.0 software is a complete rebuild of the phones software and thus, reassigns internal addresses to the various chipsets.

Also, to use the Phone instead of having it come through the trucks audio you simply tap the iPhones screen so that you can see the in-call menu, and click "audio menu" then "use iPhone for Call" . This will disable the bluetooth connection.

Already tried that guys. It won't work. I erased all the phones in there and it won't work. The weird thing about it is the phone was working half the day yesterday with the uconnect and 2.0 but all of the sudden it just says no phone. Is there a way of totally resetting the system or something???

I wouldn't worry, iPhone 2.1 software is just around the corner. The beta has already been seeded to developers for a week. The issue is NOT with the iPhone specifically, but with crosstalk issues between the 3G capabilities and the Bluetooth radios.

yep... it's a bug...v2.01 is on the way (or v.2.0.1 not sure how it's worded)... and 2.1 is in beta... just going to wait it out :(

It would be nice to have these little bugs worked out soon though... it's getting old.

Yup, my updated iPhone pairs with my 07 GC but the wife's upgraded iPhone will not pair with her 07 Charger. WTF is that all about?

Its such BS, i called atat and they said the $200 price is only for new custumers or people renewing their contract. So I would have to wait until next year or pay like $600 for it now.

Yeah the phone costs similar to the original Iphone it's just subsidized for those who buy a 2 year contract.

FYI 2.0.1 came out yesterday...fixed a bunch of the issues I had.

picked up my new G3 today. It's a bit nicer then the old one. The one thing I like about it is the headphone jack is a normal one on this phone. You don't need an adapter or anything to use let's say Bose Headphones.

iPhone uConnect problem solved (3G iPhone 16GB & 2007 GC SRT 8)

Installed iPhone 2.1 on Saturday, Sept 13/2008. Tests OK. Visual Voicemail does not work over BlueTooth but incoming and outgoing calls now work with our 2007 GC SRT8 :)
