Or...... if you are feeling adventurous like some of us and you are going to install Silverstar Ultra's, then the 9005 will do just fine in the fogs! One note, if you do decide to go that route you should know that the bulbs do not last as long in the fogs as the 9005 though they are a perfect fit. I am not sure why but I am sure it has to do with the wattage. Mine lasted about 8 months a piece and now I am about 6 months into my second set in the fogs. The 9006 headlights are still the original and running strong.

Right and then in about 4-6 months you can buy some new fogs because the extra heat has yellowed or cracked the lens.

Ask Scottina06....he just switched back to the 9145/H10.

Thanks Wade.

I could never replace CandyMan.

Just happy to share, especially the parts that are the same on the WK and SRT8.

Robpp is right....the ultras kept blowing in my GC....and they also ruined the lenses....or maybe the foglamps themselves are just crap and cheap....anyway I had to put new lamps on....and so have several others. I still have the my last set of ultras in there now...but when they fail I will replace them with the 9145 silverstars

I'm not sure about HIDs. I thought thye didnt make any more heat than stock but only from reading, no real experience.

Seems like eBay is a good source for replacements. I assume you want to stick to OEM. The list price for the set is like 150+. Standard Grand Cherokee same as SRT8.

But I have seen OEM used ones for like 60 a set. Most are salvage but factory.
