Does anyone have one of these? I just got the "RR" model and it's way cool!!! I still haven't weighed the car yet, and the RPM calibration is still a bit off, but even still, the timing functions work great. I just cracked off a 4.556 second 0-60 two days ago. It barely has 2000 miles on it, so it might improve a bit as it gets more miles on it. Oh, it pulled 1.02g on launch! What a beast!!!

Positive feeddback seems to be the norm with those devices. Enjoy!

Had an older one back in the day when I was thrasing my Grand National, pretty accurate little toy. Loaned it out and never saw it again, that will never happen again. A new version is on my santa list. Yes I have been good, except for violent starts and excessive speed in my current vehicles, maybe santa can look the other way. Ho!,Ho!:D

I have the Gtech Pro Competition model & am having a difficult time with the rpm calibration. I have talked to tech support at Gtech & they made some suggestions that didn't cure the problem. The tach reading displayed in the Gtech is VERY erratic. Sometimes the fluctuation is big enough to cause the built-in shift light to illuminate when idleing(the shift light is set at 5200 rpm). I have tried to calibrate the tach several times without any luck. I have a feeling that the dual spark plug crossfire ignition system on the GC is causing the problem. I've used my Gtech on my last vehicle without any problem.
The accuracy of the Gtech is very good. I took my last vehicle to the strip with the Gtech installed & was within a few hundredths of the dragstrip's timing clocks. MPH reading were higher for the Gtech because of the differences in the way that speed is calculated between the strip & the Gtech.

Thoughts on this? Are members still experiencing problems w/ the rpm calibration? haven't seen much on them recently (considering the Dashawk's robust popularity, but these seem pretty cool too)...
