Have to take my rig to the dealer. The electical system needs service. I have that window thing everyone talks about but also just yesterday for the very first time, I start the truck at the gas station and have no electical. What tipped me off was not being able to put the truck in gear. Then I realized no AC, no windows, no radio, no nothing. I romped the gas to make sure the truck started and of course everyone in the joint turned a head. Bottom line is it has to go to the dealer but I have mods done. The bolt-on stuff I'm not too worried about. What I'm more worried about is the CMR tune. I know it has nothing to do with my problems but I don't want them to give me trouble over it while the truck is in on non-related service.

Will I have a problem getting warranty work done on the electrical issues? If so, will they flag the truck in the computer as having been modified thereby alerting them for future service that may be required?

I just picked mine up from the dealer after it sat there for a month waiting for a forward control module. My electrical symptoms sound almost exact. Good luck.

How often did this occur for you? I've had it since Feb and bought it brand new. This is the first and only time this has happened. Was hoping it was more of a "freak" incident. After reading your response, I'm now worried there may be more to come.

The only other issue I had was the MyGig volume/controls went wacky but the latest update seems to have cured that.

Jimmy, your mods are minor. All you need to do is load your stock tune back in the Jeep before you take it to the dealer and it will be fine :)

Exactly...what she said!...good luck...and electrical gremlins are a part of the jeep experience imo.

Never heard from you last night, but toatlly agree. No big deal. I doubt they duplicate the problem though.
