I was just wondering how often and most important how to clean my mopar CAI i had put into my car?
People say use compressed air, but if I don't have access to compressed air, will the oil change shop be able to clean is for me?
I would like to do it myself, I just need to know what I need to do it and if it's a big thing, then where can i take it to have it done.
Thanks again for all of your help.

Clean it after one year - use any standard recharge kit.
Filters that are a little dirty actually flow better, so do not be gung-ho about cleaning.

The recharge kit has the cleaner & re-oil for the CAI filter.
Moparsupercenter has them.

yes, but my mopar never came with any kind of oil? I just had my dealer put it on... Is that bad?
What does this oil do and how do you add it to my CAI?

CAI's come pre-oiled. And do NOT use compressed air on an oiled cotton gauze type filter (like your CAI). It will blow holes in it.

Just go here...pick a kit, say aerosol, click on the part number and read cleaning instructions....probably shows a panel filter, but cleaning is the same for a conical one...

I take mine down to CAI Engineering near Olympia for twice yearly cleaning.
Here's pic of them working mine last time I was there.
