Probably been asked before...........if so, where from?

It has been talked about before, but I don't know what threads to search. I think the most common opinion was to carry around some microfiber clothes and some spray detailer, instead of messing up the look of the Jeep with splash guards.

I haven't seen or heard of any made specifically the SRT, but the reg GC ones kinda fit. There are some pics somewhere on the site.

Are you referring to the factory fender splash shields/liners? I have the chance to get to know their price please tell us. I wish that there's really existing piece for srt8.

If you put spash guards (mud flaps) on your rig you will be banned.;)

Yep, I'm talking about mud flaps - I thought splash guards was an Americanism but it looks like its a Jeep-ism!:D

It's ok for you Yanks but over here in England it rains - my car gets used to and from work on muddy roads and it's far too pretty to have mud stripes!

So - I have a set of regular Grand Cherokee flaps and they are not a great fit - any other ideas (keep it clean!)

ok well....

1. Im in Australia not the US and it rains a hell of a lot here (my rig is currently covered in about a foot of snow) and i dont get too much gunk on it without them and..

2. If your in the UK your truck should of had flaps on it like mine as i was under the impression that all export models had them. Mine were a perfect fit but if you ask me they dont belong on an SRT8, period.

Why not? Be different. It's functional and protects the paint.

Yeah, I'll get some on here soon. I had it repainted ~3yrs ago, & wasn't happy so I'm waiting to get it redone again.

Hi

I used to import and export computer parts so I know all the pitfalls.
I would take business from just about anyone anywhere too!
I've bought plenty of stuff from the U.S.

As far as the exhaust is concerned, the modified stainless exhaust I have due to the LPG system sounds fantastic.
The guy who made it builds exhausts for dragsters - based near Southampton.
Cost was around £500 - they used my SRT to take a plan from in order to fit any others requests that come in.
The only thing they didn't do was hook up to the original tail pipes, which they would have had they had more time.

So for around that price plus shipping you could get a great sounding exhaust!

The US splashguards, Mopar p/n 82209094, will not fit the SRT8 models. Below is a photo showing "fitment". You could certainly attach them in place, but there is a large gap that would have to be braced somehow. If you still want a set let me know and I can make it happen.

Thanks! Kind of you.
I have offered up a set of Mopar to the vehicle and you're right, not a good fit.
These ones would fit - the SRT8 is listed :

These that you listed do not look as molded as the OEM ones. They seem like flat pieces of plastic.

What about the front wheels, are there any flaps for those?

Can't see anyone making specially moulded flaps for the SRT8 so a "flat" set will have to do - - just no-one ships to he UK:(

Hey! I have a black "09 & had that 3M protective clear vinyl film applied to my rocker panels, rear bumper behind the wheels, hood, mirrors, headlights, foglights, grill, hood etc. practically invisible. Personally I didn't want to go the splash guard route in order to not upset the awesome looks of the vehicle. Might be worth checking out. Won't keep the dirt off the vehicle but it will protect the paint. Just throwing that out there for you as an alternate.
