If you bought an '08 the M6 rims are avail. from the factory. Also those rims are 2lbs lighter a piece than the OEM M5s.

I have been debating buy one also... M6 rims are a must.

M6 rims are smokin, my buddy has em- but on his M6..never thought of putting them on the 5. TIGHT.

Wow, M6 rims on an M5 (as Ryan said) look amazing. I was really underwhelmed aesthetically speaking with the E60 M5 until I saw it with those wheels--huge difference.
Oman, what are the shifts like with the SMG in it's sportiest/firmest setting? Are they quick or is there lag? Also, how are the shifts when you're just cruising around, are they smooth or jerky?

NO on the M6 wheels! To bad you can only launch the M5 20 times before destroying the SMG and rear Diff. Read about it on the forums....So stupid.....Go BMW

Congrats! I have it's little brother, an 05 545i with 6 speed and sport package and OEM M5 19" wheels.....FANTASTIC car, pure sex on wheels. An M5 or E63 is next on my list! Keep the M5 wheels they are classic BMW. Join E60.net too@!

I had a golfing buddy who passed away last year at 50 with an 07 and he just put some AC Schnitzers on it with an exhaust and never got to see it finished. I don't know what his wife did with the car either.:( I can't wait for new TTM5 to come out. That should be just sweet! There are a few M6's running around here including a hottie blond driving a White one.:) Can't wait to hit that PowerBall. Anyone seen that guy in Europe who's building a E36 with a twin turbo V10 M motor?

Just hand it over to Dinan I've heard one of theirs with just about every bolt on and it made the jeep sound like a honda it was sick.

The Bangle design is horrible, sorry. The E39 M5 is perhaps one of the most beautiful cars ever produced.
