: Tinted Rear Tails, and front orange reflectors
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 09:39 PM Hi
I want to get new tinted Altezza(sp?) or similar type of rear tails, as well as the lower rear red lights, and the front orange reflectors tinted.
Any idea where I can buy these parts thatll just replace stock peices?
Avoncustomwheels.com offers a trade in program. I didn't go with altezzas, but rather just had all 5 of my rear lenses sprayed at my local body & paint shop. The small rear fogs are a bit of a pain. To remove them, removing the bumper was basically a must. I didn't touch the front reflectors (without those, I'd be kind of invisible from the side). Here is a shot of what it turned out like.

Zengarage did mine. They should've come from the factory like this!
That's right! I forgot about Zen doing lamps. I've heard outstanding stuff about his shop's work. Go with them!

Grrrrrrr.... LOL
They seem to change a little bit pretty frequently too. Not sure why.
Dr.Steve 11-16-2006, 03:29 PM i just put on altezza clear lenses with the black background yesterday, very similar to the ones Khamlet had on the truck he sold, they are easy enough to find on ebay, I bought them from a company called proexhaust for about $130 shipped, I'll put up a pic of them as soon as it stops raining here and I can clean my truck!!!!!. . haven't found any good replacements for the rear fogs yet, but smoking them as shown above is a nice option!

Yes, I painted the side door moulding, belt molding on the windows, and rear and front chrome.
Mango 12-07-2006, 05:40 AM Uggh, I'm sorry but I think those altezza tails/tinted tails look aweful. Just my humble opinion.

I think they would look better if it was painted gloss black instead of flat black...

i agree 100%. i understand that these types of aftermarket lamps have a weak adhesive on the lens so it shouldn't be too hard to do this.
it is a lot of work though so it would be a lot easier to just tint the lens a little bit.
