It all depends on how much you jump on it. I checked mine every 2 - 3 weeks and there never more than a couple table spoon fulls.

Good question. I put one on a week or so ago. I checked it after a couple days. Probably 50 miles or less and could see residue going down the sides of the can but not enough buildup to leave any in the bottom. I would check for clogs if you are worried. I am sure some get more vapor than others depending on driving conditions.

I made the mistake of not checking it for about 5000 miles and when I did it was full. Now I will check it sooner.

Agreed, very good question, I was looking into to this and was curious, how imperative is this? If I understand correct, having this isn't critical yet at the same time I am seeing a decent amount of folks here adding it.

I might just jump on startech's meth can for starters.

Overall, I feel the BT can is expensive for sure. It is a well made piece that looks the part. Hoses suck. As soon as the bwoody shows I am going to be fabbing a bracket to hang it somwhere in the area the stock airbox was. I'll finish it up with some better fittings and stainless line.

Some dump it at oil changes (every 4000 miles or so)

Play the safe side, split that and check at 2000 miles and get a feel for how fast your filling it

Would say so, but check as often as you want
