Saw it last night at my local dealer, I asked the price he said $44k ...I thought that was high for a used with 10K miles.
Said they usually sell these at $49k new.
Anyways, I know that is all BS now ... but check out that link, and let me know what price I should push for with that mileage.
It has Nav, DVD and supposedly fully loaded.
I test drove it and it seems nice, but there is a big lag going from 1st to 2nd ... I read about that too and will see about getting reflashed as a purchase condition.
I need to know ASAP - within next couple minutes, leaving to go there in 5 minutes, lol.
zen garage 11-15-2006, 08:30 AM you should buy mine for a hell of alot cheaper. big difference between mine with 4k miles and one with 10k miles. mine also has lots of extras.
its an easy choice, buy mine!
zen garage 11-15-2006, 08:33 AM after looking at the ad, I see one major problem...ITS NOT BLACK!
barho 11-15-2006, 08:59 AM DO NOT DO IT FOR THAT PRICE!!!! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!!
Purchased mine fully loaded with only 8 miles on it for the employee price of $41,008.
Tell them you will offer $38k. If they don't take it, walk out. You can get a brand new 07 for less than that!
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 09:50 AM OK, my friends brother in law in Austin is the finance manager for a dealership up there, I will take my cars into my local dealership to get appraised.
(trading in my BMW M3 and my KingRanch)
I will get a probably great deal there, and he should be able to get it pushed through finance wise.
He is looking for one right now - he hasnt called back in about an hour and half, so i doubt he'll have luck.
I am willing to entertain buying used vehicles from you guys, as long as it goes through the dealership.
Will let guys know.
Ink Pump 11-15-2006, 12:44 PM Hey Zen - My new 2007 was $42990 with option 1 & DVD
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 01:13 PM I passed on the one at the dealership for now ... they wont come down below $41.5k and even then, that number is a MAYBE.
I don't want to make the same mistake I did with my truck ... if i am going to buy a cheap american car, gonna make sure i can sell it for more than i owe on it.
tommyg 11-15-2006, 01:45 PM Noticed it has a trailer hitch, and a clean looking installation at that, so thats a small plus, but yes, I agree, the price is high. 3 months ago I paid $41,900 for a 2006 from Carmax with 6,000 miles. Maybe could have done a little better elsewhere, but they are still kinda hard to come by, and besides, it was black.
RU55ELL 11-15-2006, 01:50 PM Helfman and Mac Haik on 45 both have black ones. Might want to check there. I went to Archer on I-10 and they had just sold a red one and a black one.
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 02:05 PM really? sweet thanks bro ... been looking for a black one.
Do you know anyone at either dealership?
isellpower 11-15-2006, 02:12 PM I found a new left over 06, red, laoded for 41K. Dealer just outside of town. Couldn't believe that it's been sitting there that long.
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 02:12 PM where? dealer? dont tease, heh
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 02:19 PM Just called Mac Haik, some guy said they didnt have any in stock, new or used
zen garage 11-15-2006, 02:41 PM i could have mine to you by weekend!
isellpower 11-15-2006, 02:47 PM where? dealer? dont tease, heh
I'll post pics next week when I get it home. :D
runutzzzzz 11-15-2006, 06:50 PM Keep looking I paid 42K for 07 w nav and rear dvd.
Mrdredd 11-15-2006, 08:32 PM Bought a Black 2007 with 9 miles on it tonight from Helfman on Kirby in downtown Houston.
Under NDA as to what I paid ... i guess the NDA should be good enough to let you know it was low.
I traded in my 2006 Ford F-150 KingRanch, and my 2003.5 BMW M3.
So long you POS truck, and so long one of the best handling coupes ever.
ResumeSpeed 11-15-2006, 11:04 PM ...Under NDA as to what I paid ... i guess the NDA should be good enough to let you know it was low...
Huh? An NDA on a vehicle purchase price? No such thing. Did you sign a specific agreement with the dealership? Sounds like salesman BS to me, to make it appear that you really did get "a good deal".
