I can't say how much I love this Jeep. I have one compliant about it. Maybe I'm just use to our BMW's which have really great high speed steering wheel stiffness. The few times I pushed the Jeep over 70's I notice that the wheel really gets loose. Is there any mod that could help this or is this possible a issue with my Jeep? Don't get me wrong the POWER is unbelieveable. I just find it hard to believe that anyone could feel comfortable over 100 MPH in this Jeep. Again, maybe it's just my baby. Not sure. What are your thoughts.

My SRT8 GC is solid as a rock @ 150 mph. BahnBlaster does a 165 mph commute on a daily basis with no problems. You are analyzing the Jeep from a BMW paradigm (as you stated), but remember you are driving an SUV, not a competition coupe.
Correct me if I am wrong, but you have had your Jeep for only a few weeks. My first few weeks, the Jeep felt a little "squirrelly" too. Take some time to really learn the Jeep's suspension dynamics, and you will feel comfortable at any speed.

Kevin...we meet again. I understand what you are saying here completely. But I think Black SRT8 kind of hit it. It took me a while to get used to what kind of steering input is needed in my Jeep. It will, or I can make it jump around and wander a bit, say like on a WOT entrance on to an Interstate through a sweeping curb. (kind of like tramling)
But after a while, the few time that I have driven at sustained speeds of over 130 (usually alligator alley in South FL) I am comfortable with the feel. It is just very different than the BMW. Love em both

Capitalst, I think what you are experiencing is normal for any vehicle with 255+ width size tires especially of this low profile. The tires are following every grove and change on the road because of their massive size - especially since the front and back are staggered. Once you get accustomed to it you will be fine. But you are right that you can't really drive it like the Bimmer.

I also noted this when I first Picked up my Jeep. I would have to agree with most everyone here though. I've had mine for a little over a month now and have taken it on several long distance road trips and I'd have to say I don't notice it as much now. The Tire theory also makes good sense as I notice it less on Highways but on some of our back country roads where I've pushed it a bit I've drifted over the center line a few times. You'll get used to it though. I've had mine up to about 115mph so far on an empty Highway. Not comfortable taking it any higher at this point.
