I have to start by saying that I love this fourm, I don't feel alone with the problems I'm having. Although this is one that I have not read yet. I have to start by saying that I live in New York City area {Queens} After picking up my GCSRT At Night I have to say but not advise to do. Upon looking at the truck the next day...ok maybe gazing at it is better to say. I noticed yellow spots on my right rear quarter panel, I tried paint thinner, compound, and just about anything....nothing! upon closer review it turns out to be primmer under the clear coat. The dealer has been jerking me around since Aug, Next Tuesday I have an apointment with a company rep, since the dealer has no record of any repairs, I'll keep everyone informed. Oh by the way in New York the dealer does not have to disclose any repairs to a new truck/car untill it reaches 20% of the value of the truck, on a $45k truck thats alot of work.

is your truck black? i noticed the same thing on the hatch of my customers.. can see right throuh the black and in certain places even less paint and it is pretty much yellow.. would like to get a new hatch instead of having them repaint and lose the factory coat technically... let me know what happens

Log your complaint with the Cust Service number. Take pics. I agree, never pick up a vehicle at night. I had to have 80% of mine repainted after going back and forth with the Digital Imaging unit and DM...I am now working on getting a new one. THe initial quality of the paint on many DCX products suck.
