I would have titled this "Killed my first Lambo" but that seems a little over the top since it was a short race; but here's how it happened.

I was at an undisclosed location and a white Lamborghini was in front of me and I had to make a concerted effort to finally get next to him. We were going about 30-35 and I was in autostick in 3rd gear. I looked over at him (a guy about 45 or so wearing a baseball cap and appeared to be just out for a cruise) and gave it a little gas and couldn't immediately tell if he wanted to go or not.

Next thing I know, he downshifted and I heard a sound like a wild beast on a tear (we were side-by-side and he pulled ahead just a bit) so I shifted into second gear and floored it. I was thinking this isn't the best scenario racing from a roll but the Jeep came on real strong and we ran until about 75 or so. He was behind me after about a half of a second and couldn't catch up, so he officially got beat by an SRT8! When we both let off the throttle he wouldn't get next to me and immediately took the next right hand turn. I wish I could have seen the look on his face because I'm sure he was surprised by the power of the Jeep.

I'm not familiar with the current models of the Lambos, so I can't say which one it was but I can say he lost and I'm sure he wasn't expecting what he got. I'm writing this over an hour later and I can still feel the adrenaline!

The guy definitely 'gunned' it because it was real loud and sounded awesome the whole time, but I guess I must have gotten lucky because he must not know how to drive it very well.

A Murcieaglo from a roll is fast as ballz. My buddy went a gallardo in his supra thats puttin down 425 and he won, but not by enough to really talk about. You take the wins anyway you can when your up against these rides- so nice job. I'll go anything, but from a roll wouldnt plan to win against a gallardo. From a dig I would be amped.

Gallardo runs 12.3 @ 117 .... hard to beat one from a roll! but good kill! I raced a Fiero replica that had a northstar V8 in at and lets just say I was supprised wehn he pull a front tire on the launch :(

An SE or 2006+ model is 'supposed' to be good for mid 11s in the 120+ range... (Information posted online shows 11.5 @ 125mph)

You have to be kidding! You need to come to Orlando more, I see at least three or four Gallardo’s a week. I don't even look twice at them anymore.
