I no Longer am the proud Papa of a a GC SRT8. I went through and did the deal for a lifted Dodge 2500 Diesel. Im excited and incredibly sad at the same time. Excited for the possibility of free fuel, and sad because of the 14 Cars ive gone through i my life, i loved the Jeep the most.:(
So if this whole SVO(straight veggie oil) conversion falls through, im probably going to repeatedly kick myself in the juevos. With my boots on.

Definitely keep us posted on how the veggie conversion goes! I've seen it done on lots of smaller cars (VW's, Volvo's) but never a full-size truck.

SVO conversions can be tricky, with all the pre-heating elements and other stuff you have to add. Refining your own bio-diesel is always a possibility too, can be done for around $0.70 / gallon assuming you can get the waste veggie oil out of somebody's fryer for free. Requires no mods to your rig whatsoever.
