to be an SRT owner, got my letter from goodyear and I fall in the VIN range for the problem tires. . . got a voice mail from the SRT experience that I'm going to on Monday in CT saying my cousin (who registered and took time off work 3 months ago for this) can't go because they're overbooked. . . only good news is that my dealer finally got approval to re-paint my peeling bumper under warranty. . . maybe I should have listened to my buddy and waited till they worked out the kinks to buy this silly truck. . . . .
who am I kidding? driving to work in this thing every day is worth all the BS! If anyone knows people at the track experience / suggestions on who to speak to there, your input is greatly appreciated, I truly hope my cousin doesn't get screwed!!!

Man that really does suck! Don't Feel bad about not waiting for the kinks to work out. I waited for the '07 and I still have problems. Front bumper loaded with orange peel as well as other paint mistakes. I have two "factory dents" they conveniently painted over and a bad rim. However it all seems to become so insignificant every time I mash the pedal down! :D

That is just wrong that they allowed your cousin to book the date and then later pulled the rug out from under him. What are they, an airline?

Oh man, I have my buddy flying up from Virginia just to attend the same event on Monday. I hope they don't cancel him too. When did you register your cousin, the same time you registered or a later date? Did they charge his credit card for the 500 bucks yet? Sorry to hear the news.

Steve - I just checked the SRTTrackExperience website. It does say that the 13th is full but the 14th and 15th are not. Just wanted you to know.

update:
thanks for the sympathy guys, much appreciated. . . for those of you going to the SRT experience in the future, if you ever have a problem call their 800 number and ask for Cathy, she helped me out and after I explained to her the situation, she somehow snuck my cousin in for the 13th. . . so at least one problem is solved. . . but now I have to find a new dealer to do my work, as my dealer has informed me that they no longer offer loaner cars and although I am having WARRANTY COVERED work performed on a 3 1/2 month old 45K vehicle, I have to pay for a rental car while it's being fixed, has anyone ever heard of BS like this before? Time to find a new stealership to deal with I guess

loaners are fewer and farther between. Good luck.
