I'm not a big advocate of street racing so please don't get the wrong idea about this thread. The short street light duels are more my thing. I've had my SRT for a month now and have only hooked up twice so here's my list:

Neon SRT4 (It was a kid, it was late, we had some fun)
'05 Mustang GT (Killed it, wasn't even close by 55mph)

The Mustang guy was pretty amazed. He got a good look at my daughters spongebob movie as I pulled away. Before any flames come in I never broke the speed limit given I had my wife and kid with me. Besides my daughter loved it! I've heard some Vet stories elsewhere but I'm having a hard time believing them given the recent numbers for the ZR51. Would love to hear from others here.

E39 M5 from 60-115, then he started to catch up fast!!! I had to get off on an exit before he could start to pass me, I'm sure he was upset!

I destroyed a 79 Caprice Classic Wagon with the wood grain panels, jacked up in the back (maybe Monroe air shocks) with a Monza exhaust tip about 2 days ago. Adrenaline was pumpin. Seriously, no good stories for me. Had a couple of punks in some hunks mess with me, but those are boring and not worth the gas.

I ran a black C6 'vette the other night. I was behind him on the on-ramp. Once we got onto the main and up to about 50, he hammered it; so did I. He slowly pulled on me up to about 100, and then pulled a little faster from there up to about 135. Exactly what I expected. Did it a second time, same results; he pulled slowly at first, then a little faster as speed went up. I'm thinking, ok, big deal, you pulled my SUV with your 'vette, but it wasn't nearly as easy as you thought it was gonna be, was it? Maybe even a little embarrassing how an SUV hung as good as it did with you, hmmmm?

Maybe I'll see you again when I'm driving my FAST car :)

Ran into a Red SRT-8 in Stamford,CT....

We didn't get to run but just blasted around a main road. I was hoping he would have gotten on the highway so we could have done a friendly run but he didn't.

Nice car, guys...this one had an aftermarket exhaust it seemed and sounded great.

Either way does anyone know if he's a member on here?

I drive a 2002 S4 (older TwinTurbo V6 model)

Ran into a new white Evo this morning on a very congested NJ road (1&9 South). We were at a light, the Evo first, I was right behind him. We ran full throttle off the light to about 100, I was on his bumber the whole time. We ran out of road. The funny thing was, the Evo was new (probably an 06), and during the blast his ride puffed out some nice black smoke. I was surprised. If any of you out there own this Evo, get it checked out at the stealership.

haha that just the way they are. Mitsu got those things running so lean to put out the power they are that it puffs smoke when they shift. Did you see a EVO VIII or IX on the back?

I didn't notice, but I'm pretty sure it was an IX.

EVO 9's are nasty! Nice job!

Evo's run extremely rich, not lean, from the factory. Hence the not so great mpg and the black smoke, which is normal if stock. A simple tune will get you 20-30whp and 4-5mpg.

Ford Lightning...from about 70mph with clear road ahead. We both dropped the hammer about the same time, the Lightning pulled a couple of feet ahead initially but that was it. Sailed right back by and beyond...felt goodddddd
