Was wondering about the Gas Guzzler Tax - Is the SRT8 GC exempt since it's an SUV? Or have the laws changed?

I believe all SUV's are exempt from the gas guzzler tax, because they are SUV's :)!

Our SUVs are exempt, while the 300 SRT8, for example is not. It's not a hidden tax, either, it will be on display in the window sticker, I was checking out a new 300 SRT8, and it was one of the first things I noticed on the sticker. :)

Not just because they are SUVs, but because the US govt. classes pickup trucks, minivans and SUVs as 'light trucks', and this class of vehicle is exempt:

The laws have not changed, yet, but expect them to at some point in the future... the Democrats are going to want some of our cash for this, and eventually, they're going to get it. ;)
