: SRT Track Experience DVD Did You Pay $50.00?
jeep-girl 06-09-2008, 08:17 PM I am looking for anyone who attended the Portland Track Experience back in March. When I attended my boyfriend and I registered together, and I paid the extra $500.00 to be a driver. After what seemed like a long wait, he received his DVD...but mine never arrived. So today I called Team SRT and inquired. I was informed that if you were not the registered car owner/driver----even if you paid the full track experience price you would only get the DVD if you paid an extra $50.00. The guy I talked to at Team SRT was one of the guys who was at Portland on March 8th, and he says that this rule was announced at the event several times that day.
Does anyone here remember or have any experience with this issue?
In my defense he said there were several other people who claim the same thing...but I am curious to know if other's did hear this and when and where they paid the $50.00? I bought several other items that day and believe me an extra $50.00 would have been nothing! But is this true?

I remember something about "Guests" having to pay extra for the DVD, and from what I understood they would buy it later, when it became available, not pre-pay for it at the event. I need to look into this, as I received my disc but need to buy the one for my son. Seems I also remember something about having to buy it within a certain timeframe after the event.

Well I guess we could have missed it. But I am a little curious as to how that is supposed to work. I mean Dave got his DVD, because it was included with his registration right? But if as a full registered driving guest (remember it's my jeep so I am trying not to get irritated) I was supposed to have a chance to purchase the DVD later why I have not received anything in the mail concerning that? Wouldn't they send letters trying to sell the DVD's? How would we know when the DVD's became available if they never sent us a notice of any kind?
What I am curous about is how other guest drivers paid for their DVD's?
Rose City GC SRT8 06-09-2008, 10:09 PM I was at Portland in March. This was before I bought my GC SRT8....so I ponied up the fitty bux. They explained that if you didn't buy it then and there, the hard drives will be erased. Sorry you missed out. I'm not sure if it was worth it, though. The quality could have been better. I'll be back for the next one in '09.

From what I have read, it seems that if you are the owner of a SRT vehicle and used your VIN number as payment for the event you would receive a DVD free of charge.
