Are you going to replace your fuel injectors with 4 barrel (quads) carbs?
Might be interesting to see cuz NASCARs use quads....:confused:

You guys like the Raptors better than the YFZ450's? I had an 04 450 and the thing was insane...Im looking to pick up another one, but I never drove a raptor. Is the only real advantage the reverse? I heard theyhad high CG and the 450's were better. Any input fellas?

My bro inlaw has a 450 and I could take him stock,,,and I out weigh him by 45lbs

I had a 450 and just recently blew the engine, so thats getting a new race motor, and im gonna pick up a raptor also. The 450 is more of a race quad with its powerband up top, and the raptor being a trail quad with down low power.

Anyone else on here ride them?

I sold Honda's, Yamaha's, Kawi's, and Polaris' for 4 years. It all depends on the type of riding your going to do. If you like to race tracks or Hare Scrambles, then the 450 would wax a Raptor and be less fatigueing since it's lighter. If you're into trailriding only, then go for a Raptor. Either way you can go wrong. They're both great bikes. Personally, I'm a Honda fan for ATV's. In the 4 years I worked at the bike shop, they were the best as ar as reliability. I hardly saw my Honda customers in the shop for repairs, just service. IT's kinda funny that you really only see Honda's running in the Baja 1000. Both bikes and ATV's. That and KTM's(bikes) as well.
