I am seriously consider an SRT 8 and have a few questions...

Will there be a major resale difference between a fully loaded truck and all options deleted truck?

Is red rock really that bad of a color? I haven't seen it in person but I kind of like it.

I think I found a good deal but thought I would ask here first
Fully loaded Msrp of 46,700 for 41,900 with 60 miles seems like a great deal to me?

Any and all input appreciated...Thanks

That's a good deal for an 07.

60 miles means it has been driven and probably hard....but you are going to drive like you stole it anyway!

Red Rock is awful....sorry.

.

If its an 07, that's about the best deal posted thus far.....$4,800 off MSRP.

Definitely make sure you see RR in person first before ordering.

But the chicks dig silver.

Anybody have an opinion on resale down the road for fully loaded vs stripped?

I personaly would like no extras as it adds weight (slower), but when you start with a truck that weighs near 5000 lbs the percentage of wieght gain for those extras may not mean as much as on my M Coupeat 2980lbs

Example

300lbs is ten percent weight gain on 2980 you will definetly feel the extra pounds

300lbs is 6-7 percent weight gain but with 420+ horsepower the extra weight may be negated?

I just don't want to buy a truck nobody wants if it isn't loaded properly...

Thanks for opinions

I know black, silver, and blue (in that order) are all faster than Red

Personally, I would skip the rear DVD...unless you really need it (kids).

Definitely get the SRT1 Group and Nav, both will help on resale. Get the roof also.

A local dealer had an SRT without Nav and it sat forever. Guarantee it was because the vehicle didn't have Nav.

I'd just diet before I got a stripped down model.

Added weight would not be much for a loaded model. Also, I got everything on mine including rear DVD for resale. When it comes down to selling it in a few years, the car with more options will always sell faster.

May sell a bit faster, but won't always get you more money.
