Hey guys just wondering what the best track experience is. Would you suggest going to a circle track, strip or roadcourse? Just wondering what you guys experienced and what was the best. Also how much driving do you actually get to do?

Are you aware that a 1 day SRT Track Experience comes with all SRT vehicles built after April 2005? You can view and register at srttrackexperience.com. I know your probably talking about the best track type to use your own vehicle at, but just wanted to make sure you knew about this. When I bought my rig, the dealer mentioned nothing about it. I even asked what it meant on the window sticker and they didn't know.

I did SRT track experience last weekend in SoCal. We drove 3 different SRT cars, 3 laps each on road course (lots of turns). We drove 2 different SRT cars on autocross - 3 laps each. We drove Jeep, 300 and truck on acceleration and slalom course. Great time -- do not miss it.

I attended the track experience a few weeks back at VIR in southern Virginia. It's a roadcourse, fairly technical and made the track portion (only one segment of 3 - the other two are autocross and a drag/slalom segment) much more enjoyable to me. We had a blast - the weather was perfect. Given the choice, I'd do a road course. You get to do a fair amount of driving, especially if you get a fairly organized group that isn't screwing around and move throught the rotations quickly.

The attended the event in Lime Rock and then the one in Fontana last week. Good people and a very good time! The 0 to about 70 MPH "drag strip" part is pretty much made for the CG SRT-8. It makes the other versions feel slow.

Just a question. Do u get to use there cars or do we have to use our own??
Only because i heard that racing on the track eats up those run flats.

You will use their cars. They brought about 40 cars! BTW - they use Michelin Pilot series tires (at about 48 - 50 PSI).

Who in here enjoyed the hotlaps. I thought I was doing something driving around VIR. Then I jump in the car with the pro driver and was amazed at the way he drove the car....SIDEWAYS.......around darn near the whole track.

 Thats the way I looked while riding shotgun around VIR!!

Can anyone who bought an 07 confirm this?
Is it listed on the window sticker?
