Huling Bros. West Seattle had a black '07 at the recent auto show, not sure if it is still for sale or not. Some that they have had in the past were marked well above MSRP so not sure what kind of deal they would swing if it is still available.

Yup. The two in Kirkland have been sitting for over a month too. They've got to be fairly anxious to unload them.

I wasn't aware of these two, thank you.

I'm tempted to contact them about the silver one, but ideally I would like to find a Silver '07 with all options. I'll keep these two in mind for a backup plan. Thanks.

If you're not absolutely set on the Jeep-- I have a good buddy with a brand new 300 SRT he's selling. 35 miles on it or something like that.

Also call Jay at Town and Country in Seattle. Tell him Greg Erickson says hi. He's a straight shooter.

Back when I was first shopping around I called T&C... the BEST they would do at the time was $10k over sticker. I told them "no thanks".

Times have drastically changed with the sales of the SRTs. They aren't getting anywhere near those prices any longer.

I test drove the 300 SRT and really liked it. I thought about buying one, but the night before I had the test drive scheduled I found out about the Jeep. So I drove the car anyway and loved it, but then I drove the Jeep and liked it even better.

If they didn't make the Jeep, I would already have a 300. I do appreciate letting me know about your friend's car, so if I have a change of heart, I'll let you know. I will also let Jay know who sent me. Thanks.

That's true, but I judge a dealer by how well they treat their customers, and taking advantage of them in a tight market tells a lot by how they operate in other situations, they will always be looking for a chance to gouge. For that reason I would never buy a vehicle from T&C even if the price was below sticker. The dealer I bought mine from does not use a "second sticker" on any vehicle and never has. The "non-greedy" dealers are the ones that will get my business in the future.

I'll agree that I may have had a different experience than most at T&C. THis was my 6th or 7th car I've bought from the same guy, so I guess it's possible I'd have been treated slightly different. If that's the case (which it shouldn't be) then you're right-- they don't deserve your business.
I went into Kirkland, for example, with a big chunk of cash, and after looking at the 300 SRT very seriously, told them to get me a Jeep SRT. They told me that no new Jeep SRTs would be arriving into the state for 2-3 months (at ANY dealer). They wanted 8 grand to reserve their next one (scheduled for delivery in 3-4 months). I called T&C back, they said we can have one for you in 3 weeks.... done deal. Do I hold this against Kirkland? Nope. Business is business. In fact, we're going to look at a Commander at Kirland tomorrow.

I bought 2 GCs from Bellevue ('93 5-speed manual 4.0, and a '99 Limited 4.7). They dented the '93 near the tailgate when it was in for service in '94, they parked it backwards so I wouldn't see it when I picked it up. Since it was the only Jeep parked backwards... I looked. The second "fun time" I had was when they forgot to put all the bolts back on a front suspension repair... I was driving through downtown Bellevue after picking it up when the shift lever when from 10" long to 2" long. The tranny had fallen almost to the ground. I bought no more from them.

I saw someone test driving the silver GC SRT at Kirkland yesterday. Anyone from here?

It wasn't me, I was trying to sell my truck yesterday to a guy that really wants it. I can't wait to get the check in hand and pick up my GCSRT8! I was going to just sell my truck later, but I've decided to do the prudent thing and sell it before buying the SRT. My truck is only a year old, so I hate to part with it, but the SRT is the funnest vehicle I've ever driven. I'm hooked...
