: Watch DVD thru Nav?

What's the easiest way to get the rear DVD player to output to the front Navi system? Is it possible?

Obviously I won't watch it while I'm driving, just wondering if it's possible.

Ive heard of AVElectronics, but never heard of anyone who had it installed.
On the other hand TVandNav2Go Ive heard of tons of members who had it installed without any regrets.
Hopefully Mine will be getting modded this week and if anyone is headed down to Englishtown on Nov 5th, I will show you it, thats if its installed.

Of course it is possible, there is the answer to the question you asked. If you (or others) are truly just curious if it can be done and don't intend to become a danger on the road by watching TV while driving, then further details are not needed. I would suggest that they not be provided as a service to all of us.

"here we go again" heh heh, you hit it on the head right out of the box. Regarding the first question inquiring about the easiest way and its answer, check the links.

Search, learn and enjoy....BUT, please don't ever install and use such a system and endanger me or others...for we all know we're all insane here and you would be an imbecile should you ever watch while driving.

Gotta love it here....:D

That is such a bad-ass looking 300C. Great Job Man! One of the neatest and cleanest ones I have seen. ;)

Not everyone has seen the other thread, in particular, imsoluckyo. If he had, he would not have made his initial inquiry on this thread. So, at least one person could benefit from having it pointed out, in which case, it is worth the effort. For those who have seen it, why bother telling us on this thread?

As to "giving it a rest" it is not as though I am posting the initial item, nor have I started any threads on this subject, it is simply a reaction to the suggestion of this horrible idea (again, unfortunately). It would be wrong not to point out how dangerous this idea is when it is suggested, and it makes no logical sense not to do so just because I had done so in the past. Which brings us back to the beginning (and end) of my response.

I agree, lets' put this whole idea to rest and hope it doesn't come up again (how many people out there lack the common sense so as to not know that watching TV and driving are mutually exclusive activities?).

I hope it comes up again and again...then someone can post the links, or tell the one inquiring to search. The initial questions were...what's the easiest way? and is it possible? Even had a little disclaimer type statement (in jest or not) that he obviously wouldn't watch it while driving. Posts two and three simply gave him directly related info regarding those questions.

No PREACHING, or personal opinions regarding watching in those two posts.

But no, you gotta pop up again with all your BS.

To me, its kinda like asking you, hey gotta cigarette for me? The answer should be a simple, direct, answer such as yes or no. In that case too, I would not want to be called names, or hear your personal beliefs on everything from smoke stink, to cancer, to second hand smoke, etc., etc.

If you don't want to answer the guys two simple questions, just sit at your CPU, and shake your head. Again, mho is keep the damn editorializing and personal opinions (unless asked for) to yourself.

You, Sir, are unbelievable. Enjoy:D

Absent second hand smoke, that choice is a purely personal one, right or wrong. Driving a 4800 pound missile on the road (presumably with other unwitting motorists and their passengers) without paying attention is not.

Would you just sit and shake your head if someone inquired to a group that included you how to murder someone? Kinda cowardly, and stupid (as in ignoring self preservation if it were to be you on the other end of that fatal event), don't you think?

BTW, other than being a malcontent and an instigator, why in the world would you want this to come up again and again? Are you on a mission to recruit judgement impaired drivers? To what end? Do you have an anti innocent driver agenda that includes attempted murder?

Thanks so much for your ongoing drivel again. Good to hear from you.

To answer the questions you asked...

2nd paragraph....Answer to both is NO.

3rd paragraph....Why in the world answer is in a previous post...read it...

Mission to recruit judgement impaired? Answer is NO.
(although it does appear you have been recruited though)

To what end? That implys that I answered YES regarding
recruitment. Don't assume you already know the answer.

Do I have and anti innocent driver agenda? Answer is NO.
Attempted murder? Get real.

There you go, specific questions asked and answered. Let me say though, that this malcontented, instigator, might just have a little bit of an anti-idiot agenda. In closing please note that I have asked no questions, so please feel free not to reply.

Have a lovely day.

ok just one more thought on this. I have read before that it can be done, but if so it should not work if the Jeep is in gear. This way there would no way to watch while you are moving. Done this way I see no reason it should not be done. I do not believe that how ever much anyone says they would not be distracted it should not work while moving.

TEDA, are you having a stroke? I can't follow that last reply because of the horrible grammar and lack of specific references...yes this, no that...blah, blah, blah. If you have a point, best to be clear and concise so we can consider it.

BTW, not in your wildest dreams have you, or will you "recruit me" for anyhting here. In any event, that failed attempt at wit doesn't make sense either.

Your are right. Went a little overboard perhaps. My apologies. Won't happen again. I'm actually a pretty nice guy for a malcontent.
