I use my rig for light utility around the house. I often put the rear seats down and load cargo.
I found a 100% canvas waterproof cover that also protects the back of the rear seats in the up or down position. It's made by Canvasback and it was about 160 bucks.

I found something similar at PetSmart... to protect the back from pet hair, slobber, etc. The only thing I don't like about it is the mat has Velcro on the underneath that keeps it from moving around. The problem is when you remove the mat, the Velcro pulls the carpet fabric pretty bad. I now have the "frizzies" in several areas...

This one has velcro also. If you remove it often the frizzies is an issue. I actually never remove it. I didn't use that cargo tray anyway. If you plan to remove often, this isn't the right solution.
