Hey I was toying with the idea of adding fender vents to the jeep, here is a poorly photoshop pic of what I think it could kind of look like. What do you guys think of the idea?

Its well known in many circles that I'm not the brightest knife in the chandelier. I mean the sharpest bulb in the drawer. Wait. That was wrong too. I mean, I'm a few bricks short of a picnic. Oh, screw it. My point is: I don't see any difference in the fender flares? Looks stock to me. Am I crazy? Wait, let me see. I have the court's opinion on that issue around here somewhere...

Fenders look the same. Except that funny looking vent on it.

fender flares means extensions on the fender arches to make them stick out further (like to fit a wider wheel in there without sticking out past the body for example)

vented fenders are another story, and that looks like what you posted here. if done tastefully, i think it might look cool. it also needs to flow with the lines of the car. check out the vented fenders i have for my G35 coupe below... see how they're rounder and more "swoopy". i think on the Jeep a boxier, edgier vent would be cool, like the M3 one below but with sharper angles

I like the idea of fender flares or wider fenders, ala the Typhoon. But do not care for the vent look you photo shopped in. I would like to see someone photoshop some wide fenders though, any takers?
