I think if the music can be heard farther out that 75ft from the vehicle than can actually impound your car for that. New lovely rule brought to you buy the bastards in illinois.

Like i've been saying, illinois/chicago is on some really crazy $$$$ trip. There are alot of b.s. laws that werent being enforced before that are starting to get used more and more often for violations. The fact is if a cop/trooper follows you long enough they'll find something you pinch you for. -- oh and alot of suburbs are starting to enact this 75foot rule too , like berwyn.

Right after i got the ticket, a black dude across the street came over and asked me what the ticket was for, and said he got the exact same ticket, but they towed his car for it too! He took down my info on the ticket and was planning on bringing it to his court hearing, hope it worked out for him.

that happend to me and my buddies in high school, they pulled us over for that reason, then had us out the car asking us where "our weed" was.. they let us go, no impound you gotta real D*ck cop.. if he impounded your car for loud music only, you def have a case.. what area were you in?? If this is the case, they should handcuff each Pilot taking of from O'Hare and Midway, and arrest every worker with a Jackhammer on I-53. I have never seen anyone pulled over for Music, or impounding the truck. I hope they drove the truck up on the flatbed and did not use Tow Cables to pull it up. If so, check the lower fascia for bending.
