: Why GSM?

Hello, My name is DanRealtor.

I have read a lot of interesting posts here recently about GS Motorsports. I read Steve's account of how he perceives reality, that he sent to someone else to post, since he is banned here, so he isn't allowed to post here (nice end around the rules). Obviously Steve has some unresolved issues.

I see that many of you already have your torches and your pitchforks ready. With all that being said is ANYONE here interested in facts? Or do you prefer just the lies, propaganda, rumors and speculation you've been fed thus far?

Facts About GSM & the I-Charger:

GS Motorsports was the FIRST company to bring to market a Super Charger kit for the 300's, Charger's, Magnum's and Jeep's.

Well Over 95% of ALL vehicles equipped with a GSM Supercharger kit are still running strong (it's actually closer to 99%, but I'll say 95% to be on the safe side).

GS Motorsports has Direct Port Injection available now as part of the centrifugal supercharger kits still available.

GS Motorsports was the first EVER in the 11's (January '06)

GS Motorsports tunes the Mopar Drift Team's cars (ask Sam Hubinette)

GS Motorsports has an AWD Dyno with full CMR Software in house.

Scott is among THE BEST Tuners anywhere. Ask anyone who has a tune from Scott.

Scott from GSM teamed up with Andrew Mueller (the inventor of the I-Charger) to bring to market the next Generation of Superchargers (I-Charger)

The I Charger does exist.

The I-Charger is extremely efficient. More so than most or all of the "Other" superchargers on the planet (whether currently available for LX's or not)

The I-Charger is currently being produced.

The I-Charger Preorders will be filled in EXACTLY the same order they were received.

The I-Charger does deliver the smooth, crisp, linear power curve that has been reported. (I am a Beta tester, I am driving one NOW, that's how I know).

That being said, I do not wish to speak ill of Steve or Tamara. I do not have any dislike for either of them, nor do I wish to create any more drama. I do feel compelled to refute a few of their statements however.

Steve is in the construction business, not the automotive business. When Steve was involved with GSM his presence was minimal, as in, he was hardly ever there. He made sure that his parts were obtained first (Mondello Heads) and Scott spent countless hours tuning Steve's car & Jeep. Steve's Jeep with Tamara driving was the fastest vehicle at the Spring Festival this year. Steve decided to leave GSM and told Scott to his face that everything was fine between them, then started immediately bashing him behind his back. I did tell Tamara that she was not allowed to speak to Steve during business hours. As Steve no longer worked for the company, nor did he ever sign her paychecks, it was not a good use of her time while on the clock. Tamara was Steve's buddy, and after he quit, she sent an email advising that yesterday was her last day. While employed at GSM Tamara found it challenging to keep the schedule she agreed to.

Any claims from Steve or Tamara about the I-Charger or about GS Mototorsports should be considered within the proper context. Statements of former business associates, no longer affiliated with the company, possibly with a hidden agenda.

For anyone who cares about the truth, I invite you to come on by the shop. I am DanRealtor. I will gladly answer any questions you have.

Being neutral here....the same thing could be asked of you. You seem to work for GSM, so you also have an agenda.

All of those facts may be true, but customer service is still vital in any retail business - i know, i own 3 retail stores. Congratulations on all of the achievements, that still doesn't discount the fact that countless emails and phonecalls from customers have been seemingly put off to the side or completely disregarded. Just my two cents from what I read about here. Lastly, all of your facts still will not convince me to ever purchase anything from GSM.

I have read from several people that Scott is a phenomenal tuner, however I think that is where most of your truths end. Your claims on the I-charger have been requested more times than tbss vs srt8 fights have broken out. You have to understand there are countless threads of regular people asking how to get help to get anything out of GSM, what they've already paid for and never delivered, or just as bad- delivered and completely useless. This forum has made the world smaller and increased everyone's knowledge- for every compliment on Scotts tunes, there are 3 complaints on costumer service and 1 on quality. I would say your approval rating is more realistically around 20-25% with GCSRT8 owners than 95%- and this again, is derived from compiling the praises vs complaints of everyday owners. Everyone on this site will not hesitate to promote and recommend a vendor they've had good dealings with, so to say people would randomly railroad you is absurd.

Best of luck with this new campaign. I never purchase the first anything and always go by word of mouth. When it comes to an investment like the jeep, I do a bunch of research and ask people who have done it before me. GSM will never receive an order for toilet paper from myself, let alone a 10k supercharger (or the 15k they charged the guy with the broken down jeep in europe).

So is Steve going to get his investment dollars back now that he's left GSM?

As much as some of the people here want to get an answer in relation to the investing in GSM by a few people, that will never be answered by GSM publically. It is really no one's business except GSM and the other individual.

GSM has been portrayed as a company that robs from Peter to pay Paul.

Another company comes to mind that does that......Hennessey.

The only other communication we have had have been his emails asking about about refunding $ for a kit that was bought and taken out of country.

pjvreede: If you have an interest in Steve's investment $'s why not find out what the terms and conditions were that he agreed to when he invested money.?

Oh wow, I could say SO much right now, but I will keep it down to a few things. First, I really like how he says he doesn't wish to speak ill of Steve and Tamara, and then does anyway. The whole schedule thing? I don't know what the heck he is talking about. While working there, I was in the process of moving to be CLOSER to GSM, and had to take 2 days off. Dan kept asking me to come in earlier because he couldn't do anything by himself. So go ahead, talk "ill" of me, I know the truth. This is the guy who also CALLS me after I had already quit, asking me about an order, because he didn't know where it was. Talk about organization. For those of you who call GSM, don't because the receptionist is only going to take a message, put it on the pink the pad, and it will sit on Dan's desk. I was the one who went through all of those dang slips to try and call everyone back. I can't honestly tell you what Dan did, because he was rarely in his office. So Dan, you go ahead and say whatever the heck you want to say about me. Go ahead and accuse me of things you KNOW I didn't do, especially with customers parts. I'm actually surprised you would even have the nerve to post here. But like they said, you have nothing to back up why your customer service still sucks. And as far as Steve being a construction worker, you are a REALTOR. Since when does that have ANYTHING to do with selling car parts? And just side note, Steve is a Director of a large construction firm in Southern California. And if I recall correctly, Steve took you in when you came here and let you stay at his house. But carry on, try and defend yourself against all these people who have made up their minds about GSM.

I love the first line in your email to him. "I did respond to your email." I'm guessing his email was something along the lines of "wtf is wrong with you people, return an email already". If yall are so proud of your work, then fix his stuff already.

I know in my case GSM was much better at charging my credit card than they were in shipping my brake pads. My business is going elswhere, I'm sure that they aren't going to miss my little bit of business...
