Does anyone know if the "active turn signals" that are standard on the '07 can be "flashed" on my '06.

I had this function on my Audi and loved it.

(OIIIIIIO)

Tell me more. I've never heard of them.

One touch turn signal. Move it slightly upwards and the signal will blink 3 times then stop. Great for lane changes.

Exactly as the Godfather stated.

slight touch, and 3 blinks.

Only effective if you actually use your blinkers. :D

As anyone that has ever driven in NJ knows, blinkers are only used if you want to warn someone as you are cutting them off :)

Having an 07' it is actually a great feature - especially for people like me who like to zip in and out of lanes alot.

Please explain this "turn signal" item you speak of...I did not see it on my options list. Maybe it was not offered on the 06s? Where could I find such item? Maybe a could do an install-it sounds kinda cool...:p

its only a feature on 07's , basically you just press on the turn signal post and it will blink automatically 3 times and shut off - so when turning you just have to press lightly once and thats it - not having to click down and than click up.

I do not have it in front of me, but somebody check the '06 owner's manual. I believe it mentions a feature like this.

Click what? Press what? Where is this option found? Is it like a button or a lever? I'm new to this SRTGC thing and "turn signals" are probably a Jeep thing. My H2 has no "turn signals".

What a concept...signaling for a turn...as if.

:D :p ;)

lol, instead of fully pulling down the signal post until it clicks into place for the turn signal you just slighty pull it.

Yes, I remember it too in the '06 owners manual for the GC but I don't think it was in the SRT manual. I'll take a look tonight.

I believe this function might be available like the mirrors that turn-down on back-up which was turned off in the factory but can be activated via the stealership.

Does anyone know if you can have this turned on by the dealer?

Milious??? HELP

The feature was originally planned for 2006 models but for some reason was delayed until the 2007 model year. Later 2006 manuals were corrected. I'm not sure if this can be engaged on 2006 models, I don't believe so.

I dont know if you can program your 06 for this kind of service when pressing the right/left signle. but you need to contact the dealer.

Yes it does mention that feature in the 06 manual. However, my 06 does not have them.

This is a feature taken from the LX cars. It's on my 300C, and a nice feature, but it wasn't worth the $5,200 bucks I saved on our 2006 GC.
