: Lambo Style Doors.
GodfatherSRT8 10-23-2006, 04:20 PM I was over on the LX forum and noticed alot of the 300C's have the Lambo style doors on them. Since I am bored at work I started to wonder.
1. Is there a kit out there that would fit our trucks.
2. How much it would cost?
I am off to go do some research on these issues, if anyone has seen these on our trucks anywhere please let me know.
Srt8jkt 10-23-2006, 04:27 PM A decent kit I hear is about $1K for the fronts. Suicide rears around the same. The kit I was looking at said you can open the doors halfway normally for quick entrance/exits.

idealrides 10-23-2006, 04:50 PM Just a word of advice, every pro who I've talked to who has done scissor (a.k.a. lambo) doors says the only brand to buy is LSD. Not so coincidentally, AFAIK they are the most expensive.

Why modify a car at all? Altezza's belong on Lexus', and 6.1's/awd/and 20" wheels don't belong in a vehicle with an off-road heritage. :rolleyes:

I agree. We do what we do because WE like it (how's that for command of the English language!). I don't think think any of us make mods or don't make mods in order to please someone else. I think Lambo doors look cool but I think that rear wing that some people are putting on looks horrible. But I doubt that anyone here thats putting that wing on cares what I think.

zen garage 10-30-2006, 06:09 AM godfather, there is only one place I would trust to lambo my doors. MINE. If you want it, we can do it. I would however recommend against it. we recently did a new escalade, he had them on for three days and made us remove them. hard to get in and out of.
we recently completed a magnum, lambo front, suicide rear, shaved all handles and installed poppers, installed a gucci interior, guci headliner, painted it pearl, installed a 300 front end and rolled it on 24 giovanna's. it was a 6 cylinder!
godfather, how about a suede headliner? its a nice klassy look that doesnt break the bank.
