DRIHEAT 10-22-2006, 06:25 PM Is it possible to have the embroidery adjusted to use the actual "SRT8" logo typeface?

slickrich555 10-22-2006, 07:41 PM you guys are asking to much money for those mats!!! $155.00 for mats ..come on you can do better then that!!!
2MCHPSI 10-22-2006, 09:32 PM Ditto on the font and the pricing comments! You can pick up high-quality rubber floor mats for ~$120. Those are factory mats with a logo sticked onto them, hardly worth the $155.
I appreciate the effort you guys have put towards the mats, and everything else for the truck for that matter, but it seems at that price you are just trying to be the "first" at things to get the "first" grab at our money.
Lower the price to ~$100ish and I'd buy them yesterday.
ResumeSpeed 10-23-2006, 12:00 AM The factory floor mats have a list price of $67.00 so you'd be paying almost $100 to have the logos added just to the front mats. Ouch!
I wonder if the logos are actually embroidered or are they just iron-on patches? If the latter, the SRT patches can be purchased for $5 each and ironed on to your existing mats.
Not using the original SRT logo is unacceptable, it looks plain awful. It's hard to tell from the pics of the mats but the background behind the "8" should be orange-ish and not red (as in "Hemi orange").

2MCHPSI 10-23-2006, 09:00 AM The SRT8 Logo has always been silver/grayish behind the SRT and RED behind the 8. NOT Hemi Orange.
scbombsquad 10-23-2006, 09:24 AM It's 155 for front only. You have to tack on another 40 for the rear.
Dr.Steve 10-23-2006, 11:27 AM Those prices are crazy. . . I know I got them secondhand, but the Lloyd's mats I bought from MrHemi were not nearly as expensive as these, had a much cooler red SRT-8 on a thick black mat, and cover well more area than the factory mats. . . I echo the above comments, I know you guys (GSM) mean well, but you really have to re-think the pricing on those mats
ResumeSpeed 10-23-2006, 01:27 PM The SRT8 Logo has always been silver/grayish behind the SRT and RED behind the 8. NOT Hemi Orange.
Look at the badge on the tailgate and compare the color to the red taillights, it is lighter with a bit of orange in it.
srt8suv 10-23-2006, 04:12 PM i would imagin my foot on $155 !!! what the heck!!
2007 mats comes with Jeep logo on them.. i have it on mine

Pics? SRT8 logo or JEEP logo?
We had these custom made and they are embroidered...which is expensive, then add shipping to get the mats ..shipping to get them logo'd.. then shipping back to us its crazy.
Some guys really wanted them and we wanted to have them in our Jeep at sema so we made a few extra sets.
I am sure we will have some down the road that will be less expensive

Just curious as to why the correct font was not used, would this be corrected on future runs?
CASEY 10-23-2006, 06:59 PM $150.00!!! Too much.

The us speed are the lloyd mats, they are not the same and I would not recommend them.

Are they made poorly? I did notice that they have the correct SRT logo though.
Dr.Steve 10-24-2006, 04:48 PM not sure why GSM is saying to avoid the Lloyd mats, they are straight from Mopar, and they look and feel great, trust me as I have them front and rear in my black now, the pile is much thicker than the stock mat and they cover more area, I also think that the SRT8 on them looks mean as hell! . . . not trying to bust your chops GSM, but why caution against the Lloyd's? they seem to be a great product!
gculver 10-24-2006, 06:23 PM For that kinda money, I would prefer that the logo was placed on the edge of the front matts turned toward the door openings, rather than dead on center. About the patches, I find it strange that the "patch man" on the blue site will only accept some payment types on paypal(no charge payments). I know i have tried, but still debating.
MrHemi 10-25-2006, 05:32 AM Hmmm... I'm wondering why our cost is $155 (plus another $40 for rear mats) for stock mats with a "not-so-great" embroidery job... yet GSM sells a four mat set (with the correct logo) for the SRT8 Charger/300C/Magnum for only $65.

The srt mats for the lx cars are a "iron on patch" and are not nearly the same quality of logo, we know the mats are expensive as stated we only made a limited number of sets.
We are a dealer for the lloyd mats, I still have 3 sets of the LX srt mats that nobody wanted and the jeep mats are the same
Scott
How about $150 for all 4? I like your matts better than the loyds.
Dr.Steve 10-25-2006, 01:27 PM Scott-
you still didn't respond to my sincere question, why tell people to avoid the lloyd mats? as I stated before, I have them and think they're fantastic, why the aversion to them? do you know something about their build quality or longevity that we don't? you say that you guys are a dealer for the lloyd's and also to stay away from them?????
srt8suv 10-25-2006, 05:31 PM Dr.Steve,
Can you tell me where can i buy the matts which you got? and how much were they?
MrHemi 10-25-2006, 05:56 PM Steve got the Lloyd mats from me... I originally bought black with the SRT8 in red, but decided I didn't like the color option after all. So I sold them to Steve and I bought another set of Lloyd mats. I bought them at http://www.usspeedonline.com/page/U/CTGY/Lloyd-Floor-Mats&qts=google&qtk=Lloyd+Mats
gculver 10-25-2006, 06:21 PM Hey Scott @ GSM, Why don't you give us the patch option like the LX version. Better price point and a better look for some, like myself. I could go a set of fronts for $65.00.
ResumeSpeed 10-25-2006, 06:41 PM Scott-
you still didn't respond to my sincere question...

I AGREE, most of us have noticed this behavior, whats to hide. WHY NOT BE FORTHCOMING on this and other questions(like the 2WD kit question):(
jlandbl 10-26-2006, 06:35 AM not sure why GSM is saying to avoid the Lloyd mats, they are straight from Mopar, and they look and feel great, trust me as I have them front and rear in my black now, the pile is much thicker than the stock mat and they cover more area, I also think that the SRT8 on them looks mean as hell! . . .
Hey Doc, do the Lloyds mats cover that resting area for the left foot? Most cars have a vinyl patch or some sort of protection in this area but our rigs are just carpet there. Thanks.
Dr.Steve 10-26-2006, 11:00 AM jl-
I actually have a set of weathertech floorliners also, and I keep the driver's carpet protected with that, the Lloyd mats are in the other 3 places and I take them out and put the floorliners in if a lot of people are travelling or weather is bad; the Lloyd's do cover far more area than the OEM mats, but they don't extend all the way to the door sill like the weathertech. . . and even the weathertech's aren't quite long enough to cover the entire dead pedal area. . . however, you can always purchase and install an aftermarket dead pedal in that area that will match our stock racing pedals and protect the carpet. . . hope this helps!
