Am Driving from Vancouver, WA to Phoenix, AZ starting this coming Thursday afternoon. Visit relatives in Goldfield, NV and Phoenix, AZ. If you see a black ride w/Champion rear plate (WA temp. in back window), it's probably me. Some places going through: I-5 thru Oregon, Sacramento, CA, Lake Tahoe to Bishop, CA, Tonopah to Las Vegas, NV, Kingman, AZ, North Phx area. Yes, I'll drive safe and sane, just me and my pal Kimber. Current mileage on beast: 800. Mileage month from now: 5600 estimate. Fuel cost: $1500. estimate. Oh yeah, not on Don's trailer anymore!!!

Goldfield.... Isn't that a ghost town? I've actually lived or stayed in all those towns.

Be very careful going into Arizona.... all those towns have speed traps.

You'll love this thing on the highway! Just wait until the temptation sets in when you see your first open stretch of road haha.

You may be replacing your windshield after you drive thru AZ....lots of stone, rocks and gravel that will get you, the front Fascia, hood, and windshield.....just life!

Am back from my trip to Phoenix. Had to take it to the dealer in Las Vegas for check engine light on. They cleared a code for hitting the brake and throttle at the same time. Have a few other issues besides it getting really dirty. Few minor chips on the windshield, front right wheel well had a little paint knocked off from a 2x4 I hit near Mount Shasta, CA. The worst thing is it's developed rear end whine around 55-70 mph. Just want to say I had a blast! This vehicle is so much fun! Nothing on the road I met could touch it. So, I think all the really fast cars are kept in peoples garages. Had it up to 150 once on a remote road somewhere in NV. passing a Vette. I'm sure it would've gone faster, but I got scared when I saw what speed it was and backed off. After a thorough cleaning inside and out I think it's a beautiful ride!!!
