Not built yet, but they are just starting to ramp up production. I'll keep checking on a daily basis for you.

We got a call from yesterday from dealer letting us know nothing had changed on the status of our build. Of course, they didn't seem to know about the plant being down for a month. If it wasn't for the info we get here, it would be a lot harder to being patiently waiting. A big thanks to resumespeed for the help he provides.

Unfortunately I do not have access to advance build information, wish I did. I can only get info once the vehicle passes QC.

My ship date was also moved to Oct 30.Hopefully Resume will see them built and ready for transit on Monday:D

I dont know who it was ordered for or if its a stock unit, but they did drop off an 07 SRT8 WK at my dealership this morning.

My dealer told me that it takes anywhere from 10-15 days to reach the dealer.I guess our delivery dates are when they actually leave the plant,not when they get to the dealer:confused:

Yes, they can sit at transport for up to two weeks (maybe longer). Typically, the transport company will wait for a full shipment to a specific geographic location (basically, they lose money if they transport one car at a time).


When my SRT8 GC left the factory, it took about two weeks to reach my dealer.

I also got a call from the dealer/agent this morning to let me know that the truck has been built (duh !) and it will be delivered to their site this Friday; I'll have it by Monday next week (being in Canada they have to do the licensing more or less in person)... seems really quick to me, but hey, who's complaining (still not sure I believe him but he was adamant that it would make this week's scheduled delivery) ... now to try and solve the elusive snow tire riddle.

It doesn't show up as built yet, sometimes though Friday/Sat builds do not show up until Tuesday, will know for sure tomorrow if it was indeed built Friday.

It was built on Saturday night the 4th...

Well, yesterday the dealer called stating mine went from D to D1. At least getting some movement.

Well it won't be much longer and your dealer was right. The boys at the plant said your Black rig rolled off the lines last Friday (Nov 3rd) at 1:00PM. Congrats!!!!!!!

What colour was your beast again...There is a Red GCSRT8 at Woodbine Chrysler as well that just came in. That means another one on the 407

Mine is usually black ... but since I drive a fair distance on country roads it tends to have unique clay tint to it at times

Hey Lucky No.8 and jstfly. I get my black SRT8 serviced at Woodbine Chyrsler and will also keep an eye out for you guys on the 407. They tell me they only have four customers with a JeepSRT8 so far.

The woodbine dealer is right around the corner from my office ... most likely I'll be going there for service as well

To save you the trouble they have no clue about the Goodyear tire recall that's buzzing around another part of this forum. They are installing a Mopar CAI when it arrives. Hopefully is goes smoothly.

I tried Goodyear but they sent me right back to the dealer. Since I have not received a letter yet I'll just wait it out. My VIN is in the range they listed. I bought the CAI through Woodbine. They did not have a clue what I was going on about so I gave them the part number myself and they ordered it up. Should have it installed in the next couple of weeks.
