: Color matched steering wheel and shifter

Interior mods have always been kind of a big thing to me. IN my past few rides, I've used a company called PatternTek (http://www.patterntek.com), and their hydrographic process to change a lot of the hard surfaces. I am about to have my steering wheel (the top 'carbon fibery suede' part) done in silver, as well as the 'carbon fibery suede' part of the shifter. I'm just wondering (since core replacements will need to be ordered for me) if there are any other SRT Jeepers who would be interested in this mod. I'm going color matched, but you can do any kind of pattern or color you can think of. Here are shots of my last two steering wheels I had them do (this was a blackwood pattern-- they did the dash and about 30 other pieces as well).

I'm in, but I have no SRT8. I can send my own shifter in since it's possible to drive without it :)

I would think that if I can get a couple of people (maybe 5-6), that we wouldn't need to send ours in. Patterntek could order just a couple of cores, then send the first batch out,a nd when we send our cores in, thy could use those for the next batch. Can you take a pic of your steering wheel for me? I need to make sure it'll match up.

Are you lost? Maybe I am missing something, but these are not SRT8s (the blue oval is a dead give away). Do you have pictures of a modified SRT8 interior?

LOL.... perhaps you missed THIS part.... "Here are shots of my last two steering wheels I had them do "

That was just showing samples of past work done for me.

Ah yes, but do you have any pics of an SRT8 so modified? If not, are they forthcoming? Please post them if/when you get them.

No-- no pictures yet. It's going to take a bit of time to get a couple of extra steering wheels to get this project started. I will post when I can.

hey ge2, any updates on pricing for this mod? Also, I am counting on you to find me some miracle wheels at SEMA, otherwise I'll likely go with a set of the black 22's from rm360. . . would love to stay with 20s if I can though. . . good hunting my friend!

Is Randy selling set of the black Giovannas? What is he asking fo them? I will be keeping my ear to the floor about some 20s for you.

As for the updates on prices...... I kinda dropped the ball last week. I will find out by tomorrow.

Wheels are to come. Once we get the interior parts going for core exchanges, we'll work on getting wheels in too. We can always do the wheel thats in your Jeep if its gonna be parked for a while ie: body shop work, paint, stereo install ect.

:D
