I took my 08 SRT to try to get some new brakes becuase I heard a rumor about them being covered under 12k miles. First they tried to tell me that all SRT oil changes are $128 bucks. I was like ya right, I had it done for 78 at another dealership and I told them they better match that.

Warranty covered:
For lights that had water in them. (oops, HIDs)
Water pump (leaking)
etc.
They tried to sell me a 1000 dollar mopar exhaust kit because they noticed I had the bwoody intake. He said it will give me better MPG and more performance.
He was very persistent on selling me the exhaust.

They hooked it up but there Idiots

Only $1000 for the exhaust?? You know that's a steal, right???

The reason why they said $128 is they charge extra for the synthetic oil....i'd question if u got the REGULAR hemi oil or something besides the 0w40 for $78 bucks....

Forget $128...seems way out of line for LOF. Never paid more than $72 at my dealer for Mobil synthetic, and they always put in 6.5 qts, and hand me the last bottle half full, so I can top off depending on how long they actually let it drain. Most other places around here are just 49-59 for synthetic oil and filter change only.

Borla's are cheaper, just like Magnaflow's. But the Mopar/Corsa is expensive, even at wholesale cost...$1000 is really good for the Mopar.

Oh I'm well aware of that. I had a Corsa system, got it for $1050. The overall build quality of the Corsa is very high. I'd say on par with OEM. I just didn't like the look of it or the sound.

I got the Borla from www.borlaparts.com they do a sale on them every few weeks. You have to keep an eye on the site and jump on it fast.

gotta say, 128.00 is on par for most oil change spots, atleast around here. figure 7 quarts at 6.5 bucks, puts ya at 45.50 already plus the filter, 7. so that puts ya at 52.50, and then the rip you another labor (fake fluid top offs and such etc) and then tax...crazy to think they are making that much on a 15 minute job, guess if you're looking to save, do it yourself. ;)

As most have said, $128 is about right. My dealership gave me free oil changes for life when I purchased my Jeep, then they tried to back out cause it was a SRT8 but I was able to make them honor it. I checked into the Mopar Corsa and was quoted $1150 so at a grand you have a deal. What dealer ? Mango where did you get the Corsa for $1050 and did that include shipping ?

I bought the oil and filter at autozone, and am paying the dealership $15 labor.
Total, $42 oil, $9.99 mobil 1 filter, and $15 labor. Total, $67.

I made sure it was Mobil 1! For some reason they were trying to upsell the oil change by 50 bucks. I wasn't having it. Im buddies with quick car and my dearlership matched their price of $72. He qouted me $949 for the mopar exhaust. I can spend a G alittle wiser than an exhaust system. I told him that I drove a open header Z06 before my SRT and I don't need a loud jeep at the moment.

The dealership was Grapvine Dodge,Jeep, Chrysler in Grapvine, Texas. They actaully hooked it up! They poped out a dent on my body line on the rear fender for like 150. It looks perfect. I didn't think it would look so good because of the body line.
