First, let me begin by saying my GCs build date is June 2006 by the door panel. I checked the WKJEEP website TSB list and the one for A/C says for those built before April 2006. Anyways, how bad did your A/C suck (or blow) before the TSB? How about after? My main issue is that the A/C operation is inconsistent, and at time seems to not even work until you crank the dial down. The best auto A/C sytem I've experienced is one I had in my 2004 Tahoe and the jeep's pales in comparison for "set and forget" operation. Just wonder if before TSB the system super sucks...and after just sucks......or did my truck possibly slip through the TSB crack at the factory.

Mine is intermittent as well. I did notice that it highly depends on external temperature. However, with adjustment, I'm happy. I don't know when mine was built, thus I will check and see if the TSB applies.

BTW, by FAR, the best AC is in my M45 sport. Brilliant design and perfect operation, as desired.

I've found that the A/C in our GC and our 300C work pretty well. No issues with keeping things cold in Southern California. If you qualify for the TSB, go for it. It is pretty amazing what they can fix with a simple computer flash.

My SRT-8 was built in May. I have had no problem with the A/C keeping me cool in the auto mode. And this included extended driving in temperatures from 90 to 100+ degrees. I wish I could give you some advice beyond have a dealer check it out.

My complaint was erratic cooling function. My JGC was built in DEC. 05 and the Dealer just did the TSB, no questions asked, results frost covered legs,(joking of course) cooling fans run even more often! HTH Gene
