Wow, you gotta be soo damn excited. i remember driving mine off the lot. Went and picked up the boys and we did 130 down the highway. I was getting 8 miles to the gallon the first week, and i think i put on 1000 miles. I still love driving it a year later.

My salesperson at the dealership says take 'er easy for the first 400 miles. Service Manager says "If you plan on driving it hard, drive it hard from the minute you take it off the lot." I put 50 HARD miles on it tonight :-)

I have a mopar CAI sitting in the garage but gonna wait a few weeks before I put it on, gonna get used to the power it has now first & see if my butt dyno can tell a difference.

Virtually every one of my friends & family knew I was getting this car today, I've been talking about it nonstop for weeks now. Had to take everyone for a ride & got back pretty late. There were lots of yelping from the girls in the back and lots of "holy $hit!" from the guys during a few launches & WOT runs. It was the best day ever!

Now that I've seen it in person I have to say I love the Modern Blue color. Still haven't seen it in the sunlight yet as it was dusk by the time the dealer was done prepping it. Will post up some pics tomorrow weather is supposed to be beautiful!

C'mon Bro. Cant snap a few quick pics? Gotta see that SRT8. I cant wait to get me one of these.

The paint has alot of metal flake in it. Can't wait to see it in the sun. It's really close to the color on my '65 Mustang (well, what it looked like 15 years ago anyway)

Forecast was sunny today but instead it's been pouring all day. Typical Kansas weather. At least it'll get the dust off :)

I haven't seen it in the sunlight yet either hopefully tomorrow!
