After my TCM & Thermostat Change, my friend Mike J. came over to my house to loan me his new thermostat O-ring. (another story why) We were going racing Sat. 10/14 and my thermostat housing leaked. A Good Guy with over 300 drag raced runs and a fast mostly stock LX Vehicle. He said try my car out to compare shifts. We stopped at Holiday Gas Station (local brand) and he showed me how cool his engine runs. (194* w/o fans turned on) His coolant temps cooled to 174* in a short time. (180* thermostat) I took off and drove back to our test and tune spot. (near some warehouses) The car goes sideways and / or powers off due to the PCM trying to reduce wheel spin. This car has gone 12.97 (10/14) on street tires. (another story) One Drag Racer wanting to help me out so I could race with him and his wife. Thanks Mike! Gene
