You know the drill..hit scan and have the radio:

1. advance to the next station
2. pause 5 seconds
3. go to step 1

until manually stopped.

How is this accomplished with our head units? The manual makes mention of a non-existent "scan" button.

A. I'm missing some braincells and the answer is obvious..

or..

B. our 50k truck doesn't have radio scan.

Obviously I'm hoping it's A.

no help here removed stock stereo about 2 days after I bought it.

no just a pioneer premier DEH-P880PRS single CD with 6 disc changer.

If you are trying to scan through all 12 preset stations, it can be accomplished via the steering wheel controls (the center button, back left side of steering wheel). If you want to seek non-preset stations, use the up and down contols on the back left of the steering wheel or the arrow buttons on the head unit. Hope I got this right, going by memory. I don't think the unit will continue scanning or seeking on it's own as you are looking to do. Put a CD in or just listen to the exhaust.
