Anyone got info regarding the SRT8 Experience. I bought mine used not knowing if the original owner took the class, so i called the dealer & gave um the VIN & they didn't come up with any info regarding the class so they gave me Chrysler customer service #800-992-1997 & they told me that they offer no such class. WHATS UP WITH THAT? I was under the impression that anyone that buy's a SRT8 gets a free class & if the origonal owner of the car didnt utalize the class that it will then transfers with the car to the new owner. Was i missed informed. HELP! I WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL & GET KNOWLEDGED!

I got my '06 in Aug '06...I thought I was beat too so I never bothered until I saw this thread and said WTF why not try...definetely call first and give your last six VIN#...Kathy @ SRT track experience told me I have to register by july 31, 2008 to participate...CANT WAIT

Congratulations! Your registration for the SRT Track Experience at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown NJ on 07/27/08 has been confirmed. You and your guest(s), if applicable, will join up to 75 other SRT owners for this exciting driving and learning experience.

Please wear comfortable clothing. You should also wear closed-toed shoes, no sandals will be allowed. Helmets will be provided. Please report to the track between [7:30-8:00 a.m. sharp] to register.

The on-site registration area will be clearly marked. You must show a valid state issued driver's license in order to participate in this program. Your credentials and complimentary gift will be given to you at the event.

This event will be held rain or shine.

Q. How long do I have to use my Track Experience if it was included with the cost of my car?
A. Vehicles purchased before 4/1/07 have 2 years from date of purchase, Vehicles purchased after 4/107 have one year from date of purchase. Additionally, as long as you have registered for an event before your expiration you can attend any event, even if we visit your area after your expiration.

Went to the experience about 3 weeks ago in Vegas and it is an experience not to be missed.

Try to go to the first day at the location of your choice as it may be lighter attended which equates to more driving for each person. We only had 16 total people and everyone drove as much as they wanted in every car. I can't believe I drove three 08 vipers on their road course and then got rides with the experts in both the Viper and Jeep at the end. I must have done the drag race 12 or 15 times, etc. I can't wait to get the DVD with all the in car camara shots.. it should be a hoot and maybe even a little embarasing if it also has sound. :eek:

Secondly, i was told that if you call to register before your time limit is up, you can register for any event being held that year. So pick the location you want to go.

The Petty operation is 1st class and I'd do it again. In that regard, they are asking in their satisfaction questionnaire if you would be interested in an advanced course so wait for more info.
