now it does
SkyeHighSRT8 04-16-2008, 07:21 AM That looks like a pretty cool program.
I went to WYOTECH for Associates Degrees in:
Automotive Technology
Small Business Management
Chassis Fabrication and High Performance Engines
Custom Fabrication and Street Rod.
This may be something I look into a little farther.
Thanks for the post.
shodanusmc 04-16-2008, 07:44 AM I am now off to the Emergency Room. I fell out of the chair and hit the floor hard from laughing. Anything with Hennessy in it is a Joke at best. Caveat Emptor

Hey Skye! I too went to Wyotech ALSO! Which location did you attend? I went to the one in Pennsylvania.
SkyeHighSRT8 04-16-2008, 08:04 AM ACE,
I thought there might be a few Techers around here. I attended the Laramie Campus. 2001-2002.
Are you working in the field you got degrees it? I'm not, but I am happy with the education I got there.
What did you study there?
JJJ93z 04-16-2008, 08:43 AM do they teach you how to take orders for peoples vipers and sell parts off their cars before you even begin to work on them?
SkyeHighSRT8 04-16-2008, 09:02 AM do they teach you how to take orders for peoples vipers and sell parts off their cars before you even begin to work on them?
can't say that they do...are you speaking from experience?
shodanusmc 04-16-2008, 09:20 AM do they teach you how to take orders for peoples vipers and sell parts off their cars before you even begin to work on them?
That is most likely stressed at the start of each class, before they get into the hands on!
SkyeHighSRT8 04-16-2008, 09:27 AM I'm not sure what school ya'll are joking about, but WYOTECH is a high dollar private school. It it the #1 in the nation for the auto field.
Right now I work as a Field Service Engineer in the Nuclear Industry.
$XX an hour/80hrs a week/$XX a day living expence/6 months a year (the rest is vacation). I guess it gave me a pretty good mechanical/electrical background.
EDIT: the posts above were about Hennessy and not WYOTECH.....I took it wrong, sorry for blowing up.
08srt8Calgary 04-16-2008, 09:52 AM So theory starts first. Part out customers car. I guess the next class would be meeting/marketing skills in which you learn how to ask for $150k from the consumer- and have them pay it! I wonder when the awkward instruction begins, when you say thank you for the $150k, but hand back a stock car- minus wheels/rubber, hood, and block. I hate scam artists- but this might be a good program to take as far as a get rich quick scam!

No ones knocking WYOTECH my friend. Hennessey is all over the internet pulling some of the craziest dirtbag manouevers you ever could imagine. My last post was not made up. It has been well documented- If you don't live in Texas and cant deal with him face to face- you are going to get taken on a ride you never thought possible. WYOTECH is top notch and everything you picked up there is paying you back 10 fold. This thread will turn into a Hennessy comedy forum.
shodanusmc 04-16-2008, 10:28 AM Exactly, no one is knocking you or your school. Just do a search on John Hennessy, or visit the Viper Forums. The guy is a joke.

I'm sorry, I read that our of context...
I didn't know about Hennessy's problems.
my bad.
El Jefe 04-16-2008, 03:27 PM I miss hearing about Hennessey. Glad I got to see the scumbag at work. Ford GT owner here is asking him how much the package costs, and JH says, "Youll have to come by the shop sometime and we'll see what you can afford." My mouth dropped:

Yeah! Another fellow Techer!! I went during 2004-2007 at the Blairsville, PA campus. I actually ended up taking all classes including automotive tech; collision&refinishing; chassis fab&high performance engine build; street rod; business management. I wanted to take upholstery and Diesel tech but I ran out off money:(.
I ended up becoming a service manager for chrysler, dodge, jeep here at a local shop in Wendell, NC. Needless to say one day I would love to have my own shop building and restoring old school cars but as of right now I enjoy what I'm doing minus the a$$hole customers:eek::D. I believe I wouldn't be where I am now without the training and education I receive at Wyotech(geez:p! I sound like the freakin commercials:D )
Oh yeah! F*uck Henessey! He can suck my ASIAN MAN MEAT!!

Thats awsome man, do you have any projects besides the srt?
I own a tire.muffler.minor repair shop in my home town in TX. When I'm not one the road, I hangout and work on my stuff. I have a 59 chevy apache(89 chevy frame, body drop), and a 56 ford sedan delivery(camaro front stub, 350/t400) that I have been slowly working on. I wish I had more time.
I wonder how any techers are around this forum?
