Good grief, we all stop at them, obviously...

Any good stories out there? :)

I usually stop in a wealthy suburb of Minneapolis, and no one says anything, i.e., they took one look at my rims and wonder what I am selling/packing... :D

In any event, I went to a different spot last night and got a few comments:

1) When I first pulled in, two guys walk up and one guy says "Holy ****, nice looking car, dude."

I says "Thanks, man."

2) A second guy walks up to me and asks "Excuse me, do you mind if I ask you a few questions about your car?"

No problem, I'm washing the windows, getting gas... He asks "Is that the most expensive kind?" Hard to answer, I don't know what he means by 'kind'... I said the Overland is theoretically pricier... But not the same vehicle.

He then asks, "So, I can get one for $30,000?" I says "Erm... No. If you get one stripped, maybe $39k invoice... But if you load it up, which I did, by the time you get through registration and tax, you're probably looking at something closer to $50k..."

Thought it was interesting, as normally people avoid me on my usual stops... :D

People always gawk :eek: at the Jeep when I go gas up.

Yeah I get looks all the time.

That's crazy though that no one ever commented on these.

The gas pumper always hesitates when i tell him Ultra 93 he like looks at me like i have 5 heads !!! seriously did i stutter lol
