We tested a couple of cars at the Texas Mile yesterday including one of our Ford GT's which ran 185.5 mph in the standing mile. The standing mile is like a 1/4 mile but its 3/4 mile longer.
Our bone stock Jeep SRT8 that we drove there and drove home ran 138 mph in the mile. The crowd that runs down there seemed to be pretty impressed with that number given the Jeep's size and being an SUV.
This is a fun event and you can see some neat cars go really fast.
