Are you offended because he's right or you don't know if he's wrong? Maybe we can argue about CAI again and get some more people banned.

Don't think I've ever argued CAIs to the point of someone getting banned

I just saying, It's not good practice to imply that customers that complain about something are ignorant. Name calling=bad business practice & Stanko=GSM

Not a good rebirth for GSM given the complaints about there crappy service and employees jumping ship to to lack of good business practices by ownership.

Just a thought

Some of the so called :suspect: experts/left overs:prop: at the "Jeep" site really make me grin reading their pontification. One of the latest gripes are the manifold spacers leaking. They attribute or corrolate oil around the manifold runners as being the fault of the phenolic spacers. If they really knew what they were talking about and could claim hands on experience removing a manifold more than once or twice, they would realize this is an inherent problem associated wirth the 5.7/6.1 family of engines.

No matter what you install between the manifold/head surface.....remove it a few hundred miles later........guess what......OIL!!!

I will not deny we have had a few leakers and by that I mean it is a "vacuum" style air leak that has a whistle sound. You replace the gaskets and "PROPERLY" torque them and guess what.......no problem!! However, even if you install three (3) oil catch cans in a row...................... you will still get guess what........OIL!!!

So maybe the guys with more money than hands on engine experience.........should pick up a wrench on occassion and stop whining and bashing about something they really dont understand!

I wasn't saying you per se. I just mean in general, people make such a big deal about little things that goofy arguments start over little things.

Thanks Joel. Looks like Steve needs a little more fiber in his diet. Maybe Tony can chime in and tell us about his leaking gaskets. Maybe Bill can chime in with his. I am pretty sure these two gentlemen turn the wrenches once and a while. :D

Ya it's one thing if you post your personal opinion, but it's another thing being an employee and trashing people that bought your product and had a problem.

Well im a very satisfied customer of GSM and the new crew there are great. Scott,Steve,Tamara and Dan have allways been kind and helpful to me. As far as the spacer there hasnt been any leakage as far as i no in our racing group. I myself dont have 1 as of yet.

I think most of the local folks like them and get good service. When it's not possible to "drop in" to ask wtf is going on with my ______ <---insert any part here, you are going to get ignored. Eddie needs to go out there and show them how it's done.

I have had mine on & off a couple of times, yes BY MYSELF.
Even "Viper Dan" had mine on and off.
I'm not dissing the Sarge on this (although GSM sucks) as he was extremely helpful in getting me reimbursed from GSM.
They NEVER would have refunded my money if it were not for Sarge.

I'm sorry you guys have gotten bad service from GS in the past, I truly am. But now I am here to help you guys out. You guys are my priority. If any of you need anything from GS, just let me know. I will get it taken care of. I've already helped quite a few people out here on the forums, and I am pretty sure they are very satisfied. Again, let me know if I can help any of you out.

IMO, he may have had the right to say what he said, but i have to disagree with his approach on it. there are other ways to address this issue without pointing fingers, whether or not it is a problem due to ignorance or faulty product. i guess not all of us can be "professionals" about our work. ;)
