Last night, coming home from conf. in western MD I spotted a Inferno Red one on the PA Turnpike heading east between Willow Grove and Philadelphia exit. Was in my coworkers POS fleet Explorer :(

Last night I paced a black GC SRT8 on 394E, heading into downtown Minneapolis, between 100 and 94, female driver. I was pacing it with my black GC SRT8, so it might have been obvious... :cool: :D

Spotted a black '06 in the Chili's parking lot off of I-30 and Hampton(?) last week on the 3rd. I can't remember the exit. The wife claims to have seen 2 previously, but she's not known for her keen eye for detail. Another guy here in the hangar claims to see a black one "all the time" in Addison, but I think he still sees Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny on a regular basis.

I was driving home in my sub here in MI. My brother and I have the only two srt8 GC's in the sub. I was turning into my street and saw a srt8 stopped at a stop sign. (my brother has black and I have silver) So I thought it was him leaving to go off somewhere so I pulled up flashed my lights and said "where you going @$$ hole?" (ass a joke)
Well it wasn't him. Some older guy and he replied "for a drive d!ck head!"
As he drove off I saw that the srt8 wasn't black being it was later at night (harder to see) but it was in fact a dark blue which I liked very much. He does not live in my sub, have not seen him since.

Saw a Red 2006 USED for sale on my dealers lot... $43,995. I think I am the only one that has one in my city.

There is a black '06 near me in WNY.

I see a black one commuting in Plano along Coit road once every month or so. Another black on on central expressway and around Knox-Henderson. exit.

I've seen one silver one about 3 month ago , a red one about 2 weeks ago, 2 black ones on my dealers lot. My girlfriend and my father say theve seen a black one driving around ( I'll believe it when I see it.). So with mine that would make six in my area. Hudson Valley N.Y. SUCKS!

You need to be on the streets a bit more around Tampa....Had mine since Jan, and my dealer alone has sold at least 5. New York has a total of 185, and Florida 182.....Not much difference huh? I'd say we "Floridians" do have a clue.

While driving in my Silver rig about 1 month ago, I saw a black one in Wayne, NJ. Looked brand new, still had the dealer advertisement tags as plates. We gave each other a thumbs up. That's the only other one I've ever seen not on a dealer lot.

I used to see another black one in Newark, N.J., near the federal court. I haven't seen that one for a few weeks. I have seen a black TBSS on Route 78 Westbound in N.J. but I was driving my work car so I couldn't play! I have never seen another JGC SRT8 or any other SRT8 on the road yet :(

i have never seen a gcsrt8 other than mine but the gas station i always go to says some old dude goes in there for gas once and a while and they said he bought regular gc rims because he didnt like the flashiness of the shiny 20'. i know this one guy pretty well with a tbss in Jessup, PA and he constanly asks me about my jeep and how fast it goes. other than that nothing else, only one on the good ole' streets of Jermyn-Carbondale, PA

I saw 8 all at the same location. Would have took a picture but my camera was dead. Come to think about it......there were a lot of other SRT8's there.....Wait a minute..It was Friday at the SRT Experience.:D

I don't know about you guys, but when I see a new post on this thread, I read it hoping someone spotting me cookin around. Like I've said before, only seen 1 other on the road. I drive about 60 miles a day round trip in the most congested part of NJ. I also hope I spot another and can post on the thread.

I have been a member of Dakota R/T for 8 years and got them to start a
"you've been spotted" membership drive. Here's how it works.

The moderator adds a link to go print an 8.5 X 11 sheet that is full of business card size images that say<> You have been spotted, by a member of XX forum.com come check us out etc.

You print it, cut em up and put in your glove box. Next time you see one parked anywhere you slip it under the wiper, in the door glass etc.

Yes there will be the occasional freak <> get away from my ride, but
I have never had that reaction, and hand them to the owner IF I see them with their ride. The one thing they never got done was a fill in the space before printing to put your E-addy or your forum name as their sponsor/invitee
to welcome them to the site, or answer questions about the forum.

I don't know what's up lately in the South Hills of Pittsburgh...before I got my GCSRT8 in August, I had only ever seen two other SRT8's of any make on the road before...back in March I saw a red SRT8 Charger at South Hills Village shopping center, and in April I saw a black GCSRT8 with West Virginia plates on I-79. But, until yesterday, I had never seen another SRT8 vehicle on the road (and I do a fair amount of traveling for my job!!!).

Yesterday, waiting to pull out from my office onto Route 60 (near the I-79 interchange) I saw a black Charger SRT8 drive by on Route 60. I was in my wife's Envoy at the time and, by the time I got the green light, he was long gone anyway.

Now, today, I had just pulled out of my office onto Route 60, and I saw a GCSRT8 sitting on the I-79 Northbound Off-Ramp. Just caught sight of it at the last minute as I drove by, so I couldn't tell if it was the new Steel Blue or Black. At least I was in my GCSRT8 today...was it anyone here???

Caught one today in Westfield, NJ in the home depot parking lot, I parked next to it, a nice steel blue, and took a few cell phone pics of the two together, turns out a woman walked out and was driving it, she kept raving about how fast it was, and I kept looking sadly at how dirty her wheels were, at least she appreciates the engine! I actually told her about our little community, hopefully she'll pop up, she needs a nicer antenna!

Besides the other Black GCSRT8 that shares my parking lot, I've only seen one other SRT vehicle (another GC) in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. Its possible that you could see me on 60 going to or from the airport or going up and down I79 occasionally. I was even at the South Hills Village mall in early October. But still, up this way, I see alot of R/Ts and lesser models but no SRTs. I'm not even sure that anyone knows what they are. I get the occasional stare but I think its because of the front of the vehicle or the wheels and not because people know its an SRT.

You probably didn't see me, as I was 6 or so cars back on the clover leaf. You might have caught me for a second in your rear view when you hit the 2nd 100S merge lane, as I jumped that lane too, in attempt to catch up with you. But two very slow cars jumped in front of me, and I had to Brembo her down, big-time! I was really moving...

I was thinking I would catch up to you once the traffic-kludge opened up at Excelsior, but you were long gone by the time I got there. :confused:

Man these things are really noticeable when you spot one from behind in the daylight. I saw the general look, then the tires, then the bumper lights and was able to positively id this beast in about 2 seconds! :cool:

I cruised by a guy in a black one a few weeks ago in the NW near Shaganappi Trail. I was heading to bowness for supper with the g/f and accidently had to cut him off to make my turn in time since his Jeep caught me off guard! I honked as I drove off, hopefully he wasn't too annoyed.

Then on thursday of last week I was following a Red SRT8 onto Deerfoot south from 16th ave in my dad's 05 Duramax GMC and wished I was in my Jeep at that moment. Especially since I saw that he still had the stock exhaust, I could have given him abit of a drive by :D.

Feeling is mutual, I've only seen two SRT's on the road so far. Both have been on Mayfield Rd.

We were in chicago last weekend for the bears game (go Bears) and did not see one srt, i was pretty disapointed. Lots and lots of them inferior range rovers but no srt's i could not believe it. So if ya saw a black srt from ohio it was me. We stayed at the marriot on n. michigan ave. By the way you chicago drivers a f'in crazy if you were to drive that way in toledo ohio you would get beat down. lol. No kills on the wat to and fro had the old lady on board (the owner of the srt) I try to tell her that everybody that is next to us wants to race but she dont believe it. Go figure. By the way go BEARS lookin for 8-0 tomorrow.

I saw a black SRT8 at the Ontario, CA airport on 10/30 around 11:40 am. I heard it pull up as I exited terminal two. Unfortunatly I was in a hurry to get to the car rental and didn't have the opportunity to introduce myself. I don't think it was stock. It sounded a louder than mine. Either that or my ears were still shot from the flight.

Went back to the dealer tonight to pick my car up from service, the 07 was sold already. Got a close up look. The front and rear areas that are black on the 06's but painted on the 07's are definitely textured, not smooth. Looks like they just painted the black textured areas. I do like the look.

Yeah the dealership I bought my SRT8 from sold that black SRT8 to a Pro Hockey Player. So that had to be him, how many pro hockey players do you think have a Jeep SRT8, dunno. He had them put a Corsa Exhaust on and a couple other features. Did it have a Corsa?... Just curious. I thought once there was a Pro Hockey Player on this Forum???

I had not spotted a GC SRT8 yet until last nite when I pulled into the parking lot of a local high-end Audio shop to find out if what I had seen out of the corner of my eye actually were the 20 inchers on a RRC. It was, and amazingly the owner - after hearing I had been looking at them - urged me to get behind the wheel and take his new baby with about 500 miles on it for a spin with him riding shotgun. I was happy to oblige :) What a beast! Spectacular acceleration even on wet pavement, and the ride wasn't as harsh as I suspected it would be, but that's after having several performance oriented vehicles. I drive an S4 and that SUV would eat me for lunch in a straight line - and judging by the size of the tires and lack of noticeable body roll - probably be quite capable in the twisties. It looks amazing also and had a nicely appointed interior with obvious Daimler influence.
So a BIG "Thanks" to Shane if you're hanging around here!
BTW, it looks very impressive with the HID's

I have a Boxster which is better on cornering than the SRT but I'm sure the acceleration is better on the Jeep. Of course it also uses twice as much GAS as the Porsche

I did not see the exhaust, so I am not sure. I am not sure that he was going to play in the game or if he was from Penn and going to watch the game.

I seriously doubt an NHL player would drive their own vehicle, across the border no less, to join up with their team for a hockey game... Unless you're Bob Probert, and 'shipping stuff' across the border... Possible, but... :confused:

I've only seen one in my area. Back in June before I had mine I saw a guy pumping Speedway gas into his Inferno red SRT8. He was pretty cool although I do hope I run into him again so I can tell him how wrong it is to put Speedway gas into any vehicle much less an SRT8. :D For those of you not from the Chicago metro area Speedway gas is the equivalent of putting grain alchohol and water in your tank. Anyway he only had it for a few days and already had a story about killing an '06 Vet. I asked was he sure the Vet was racing he said yea. I still had my 5.9L at the time so he gave me a little run to show off his ride. Even with my mods I couldn't keep up. It was all pretty cool. Still perplexed about these Vet claims. Pre '06 maybe but these new 400hp Vets are running high 12's in the 1/4 from what I've read.

I only know of two JGC SRT8's in south jersey, one is owned by a guy I know who owns a car modification store. The other was some guy I saw at a local Sams Club driving a black one. However, both are 2006's hehehe. My dealer told me I'm the first 2007 JGC to be sent to southern new jersey.

Spotted: One black JGC SRT8, 6:00 pm, Saturday night, downtown Minneapolis, in the Target Centre parking lot, skyway level (2nd floor).

I came around the corner, from the Target Centre, heading into downtown, and it instantly caught my eye, I saw the rim, and thought 'oooh, nice wheels...' :cool:

I've had mine since July (6K miles, so far) and I drive about 80 miles roundtrip to work everyday (from Fort Worth to Dallas) and I've not seen another on the road. I see far more TBSS's, about one every 2 weeks. Mine is completely debadged and I get alot of inquisitive looks...you know the type of look that the person knows it's different then normal but has no clue what it is. Then there is the once in a blue moon where someone does know what it is and gives a thumbs up or asks directly if it's an SRT8.

I know that the first time I do see another one on the road I will probably be driving one of my other cars.

Hey SRT8Can, I have a black SRT8, and I'm from Toronto. But I have also seen a red one one the DVP Downtown.

I'm from Toronto, and frequently on the 401.
Just letting you know.

I am also on the 401 and 427 quite often. I am often driving so fast I usually do not slow to say hi :D

I am in the CHicago area, and have yet to see a SRT or a TBSS being driven. However, I did see a brand new 07 Black Jeep SRT this morning at the dealership looking sort of sad!

Another black one spotted on Sunday 12/10 around 12 noon in the Wawa parking lot in Upper Holland, Bucks County, PA off of Buck Rd.

Sooner or later I will spot someone on this board.

I've had mine since July (6K miles, so far) and I drive about 80 miles roundtrip to work everyday (from Fort Worth to Dallas) and I've not seen another on the road. I see far more TBSS's, about one every 2 weeks. Mine is completely debadged and I get alot of inquisitive looks...you know the type of look that the person knows it's different then normal but has no clue what it is. Then there is the once in a blue moon where someone does know what it is and gives a thumbs up or asks directly if it's an SRT8.

I know that the first time I do see another one on the road I will probably be driving one of my other cars.

I see a ton of TBSS' out here. Heck, I slowly drove by one in bumper to bumper traffic and the driver gave me a nod and a dirty look. :D

I saw the same (?) black JGC SRT8 in [roughly] the same place last Tuesday night! Must be there quite often... And must not read this thread too often...

This is a public lot, btw... How does this person get parking on the 2nd floor, consistently? When I used to park there, I'd be lucky to get a spot on the 5th floor!! :rolleyes:

You might have caught me for a second in your rear view when you hit the 2nd 100S merge lane, as I jumped that lane too, in attempt to catch up with you. But two very slow cars jumped in front of me, and I had to Brembo her down, big-time! I was really moving...

Man these things are really noticeable when you spot one from behind in the daylight. I saw the general look, then the tires, then the bumper lights and was able to positively id this beast in about 2 seconds! :cool: I've only seen one before the Get Together at the MOA. Saw a 2006 blk SRT/8 GC in Larchmont, NY - He wanted to race. Had the family w/me and couldn't - wifey's orders. I'm glad though...he was sprayed along w/other exhaust, etc mods - - showed me the tank mounted in the trunk when we pulled over. This was in early DEC.

I drove in formation tonight (1/19) for about 15 miles with a red GC SRT8 today on route 3 west, route 46 west and route 23 north in NJ. We were in traffic part of the way and chatted. We both confirmed with each other that the TCM flashes were done. Nice guy and a member of the blue site. Turns out we only live a few miles away from each other.

Man, you north jersey guys have all the fun. I never see GC SRT8's down here in south jersey.

Do you have upper lumbar difficulties? Your head turned neither right nor left as you stared stoically ahead. No visible signs of life other than the GCSRT8 moving. Perhaps you were so excited at the rare appearance of another you voided your bladder and were uncomfortable shifting positions? All in all a very unsatisfying spot.
Given the level of enthusiasm on this forum I would be shocked if you were a member. Bring that poor beast back to the dealer immediately and purchase a sensible car.

Orlando, FL - Red Jeep SRT8 on 528 at the International Exit around 4:30pm on 2/9. Looked great, very clean. Wheels were spotless.

Had my best spotting thus far. I was almost in shock for a second. Pulling out of my street through the snow and there is a silver '06 pulling out onto the same street from the other side. A very cordial wave. Then i caught up at a red and pulled beside. Rolled down the window as did he. He asked if I had snows on mine and I said no. He said he did and "doesn't help much". Even though we know it does help, I know what he meant - putting 20" snows on is not going to provide arctic grip.

Anyway, asked him if he knew of the site and he said no, so maybe will have a new visitor or member. All I kept wondering after is "man, does my truck look that good going by?" The thing looked awesome.

Saw a somewhat dirty silver one on West Side Highway in downtown NYC going northbound on 2/13, around 10AM. I was on the end of Hudson Street at a red light with my black one.

Spotted a silver SRT8GC in Yuba City, CA. Kept seeing the rig at the same restaurant so I went inside to see if it belonged to an employee. Talked briefly with the owner - nice guy - the thing has Kooks, Mopar CB set-up and tinted front windows. Don't know if he is on either of the forums, didn't have time to talk much.

Okay, so I've seen the same Red SRT-8 TWICE now (I recognized the plate), unfortunately I wasn't in my Jeep to catch his/her eye.

The first time I saw it was as I was walking out from getting my insurance binder used to procure the check which procured my 07 Silver JGCSRT8.

Sighting #1 - About 11 a.m. on Tuesday Feb, 20th on Lakeview Ave. in Dracut, MA (right around Mama's Italian Restaurant).

Sighting #2 - About 2 p.m. today (Feb 23rd) Northbound on Route 3 right around exit 26.

I have only seen one silver Jeep GC SRT8 in downtown Colorado Springs on Cascade ave. Silver, looked very sharp. Also I saw a Inferno red Charger SRT8on Dublin and Rangewood in the Springs also. I have to say I liked the look of the Charger a lot. Don't see too many SRT's in this town.

I paced a black Black SRT8 on highway 100 south this morning, around 9:00 am. I wasn't really paying attention, then I looked to my right spotted the rims and realized, yep, SRT8 all right. This one was debadged, I didn't see a Jeep or SRT8 badge on it. Female driver, brunette. Didn't pace it for long, she got off 100 pretty quickly, onto 62.

I'm not really sure she even saw me, not sure how she could have missed me, but she didn't seem to look over, or anything. I also think this is probably the same Jeep I paced on 394 east a few months back, heading into downtown, also being piloted by brunette female. :confused:

Also spotted one in the left lane heading south on 100 last Friday night at 5:30 pm. I was heading northbound, also in the left lane. That encounter was very brief! :D

I NEED to find this Silver 07' that I keep spotting around my house in South Jersey. The driver is a smoking hot girl with black hair. I've spotted it parked for gas once, then going the other way on the Black Horse Pike (a major throughway down here). I would have swung a U-turn, except for that large median in the center. =D

Finally...spotted one that wasn't mine. Today at 12:30-ish. Black SRT8 was leaving the parking lot behind Chipotle on MacArthur @ 635. I was a quite a distance away but it looked very clean. Of course, I'm not driving mine today.

Spotted a black one on the Rt 413 Bypass in Newtown, PA yesterday around 5:30 pm. Had his wife with him, blonde, and cute ;) . Got up behind him at the light and mashed it to get around him. He did too, but for some reason I walked him :confused: Guess that's a kill story too :D

Anyway, anyone here???? Had NJ plates and was bought at Baker in Princeton (had dealer emblem, so something tells me he ain't on this board as all of us would have removed that emblem the day we bought it)

I've only seen 1in Miami, which I testdrove (Red Rock). Also saw 1 in the Aventura Mall about 2mnths ago (Inferno). Oh and they had a silver at the dealer but it was sold already.
I'd figure I would see alot of them especially in the Magic City, but nope!

Finally...spotted one that wasn't mine. Today at 12:30-ish. Black SRT8 was leaving the parking lot behind Chipotle on MacArthur @ 635. I was a quite a distance away but it looked very clean. Of course, I'm not driving mine today.

I see a middleastern guy driving a silver one in my area alot (Littleton). I even saw him again last night but I spotted it out of the corner of my eye when while racing another car in my Trans Am!

I got hit by a little bit of it on my way home (to Fort Worth Cultural District) in the mid-cities but I was driving my sacrificial Chevy truck. I passed by where the tornado hit in Haltom City about 2-5 minutes after it happened. I didn't see it b/c my view was blocked by some buildings on hwy10 but I knew it was happening b/c there was alot of debris flying around where I was (about 1-2 miles away). It was not good feeling but I wasn't too worried when I was on hwy10 since there are alot of options for changing direction on the that road. I was more worried once I was back on 121 with no option to easily change direction. My truck was blowing out of it's lane at 20-30 mph from the straightline winds. I haven't checked for any damage on the truck yet but if I have any it's probably just a handful of dents that my paintless guy can fix for far less then my deductable. I couldn't see any dents yesterday when the truck was still wet.

It was nice to see another SRT8 out there, looked good.

I drove in formation tonight (1/19) for about 15 miles with a red GC SRT8 today on route 3 west, route 46 west and route 23 north in NJ. We were in traffic part of the way and chatted. We both confirmed with each other that the TCM flashes were done. Nice guy and a member of the blue site. Turns out we only live a few miles away from each other.

Repeat spot tonight (4/19) at 6pm, same GCSRT8, same neighbor, same highway.

I finally got to see a real live actual SRT8 on the road. I was so shocked I nearly hit it as he drove in front of me.

OHIO, Cleveland, Beachwood Mall - I must say the black looked great! It must have been just cleaned

Apparently Florida has one of the highest quotas of Jeep SRT-8's but I have only ever seen one on the road before (or since) I bought mine. The best bit is the one I saw was black, travelling on the interstate in the slow lane; I spotted it form way back and caught up - it was being driven at about 65mph by a woman who could not have been less than 75 years old. Awesome. She may not be interested in kicking your ass, but she could if she wanted to...

Nope! I had mine in the hangar and kept it there until the storm passed. The wife's 645Ci just missed it, too. She got it in the garage right when the storm hit at the house. I'd like to get a beater to drive when the weather gets ugly, but with my FFR Cobra on the way, I won't have room for it. Oh,well!!!

Saw a black one over the weekend on Erie St in Jersey City. Talked to the guy for a little bit. He caught a light with some street bikes, and also ran 2 of them over. My girl and I were laughing so hard. He launched on the bikes, but everybody ran outta room when they got by Rt. 139. NY plates.

Saw a red rock one twice today. It's the same one. On Lafayette St in NYC, then on Centre St. He was behind, then next to me. Exhaust sounded nice and loud. Had tail light covers or something. NY plates, no front.

I was in my black one, both times. PA plate (yes, only one).

Spotted a red 2006 GC SRT8 today (5/18) at 5pm on route 46 west in Totowa, NJ. We gave each other a thumbs up. He had a chrome bug shield on the hood and a tinted plastic spoiler on the rear (never seen this before).
