Well, looks like we're going to see how this horsey-beast fares on the snow-filled streets, with the shipped wheels, a little early this year... Oct 12?! And it snowed yesterday, too!
There's more ice on the ground than I thought there was, I was slipping while walking through the parking lot, this morning... No problems with the truck, yet. Although it hasn't seen anything, compared to what Minnesota's going to throw at her...
20 degree F wind-chill dropped my psi way down, fired up the truck last night at 6:00 pm and warnings were kicking in as my psi dropped down to 28 on 3 out of 4 tires... So I brought them all up to 35 psi, after running for half an hour, outside. Looking good...
Glad I read a post here about raising the psi to 34 to shut-down the warning on the dash!

Ha, I agree, MatFab! I took pictures of the truck collecting the white stuff, can post later (need my usb cable...)...
That looks pretty soupy out there in Michigan! And it's collecting...
Ours snow over the past few days has been pretty dry, as it's plenty cold out, thermostat read 27F this morning, before windchill, and it's gusty...
Did you have to adjust your psi too, then?
The good news is that it's back into the 50s this weekend!

I hope it stays cold - I am heading to the track this weekend and the cold temperatures will be advantageous for low ET's :)
last year something like 34" from one storm....drifts were 6 feet+

under the cover was my 600rwhp daily driven cobra showing it's love for salt...after that car in the winter I'm expecting the jeep to be like a superstar.

I miss the snow! Grew up in central MN, moved out to SoCal when I was 22. We get back twice a year...summer and Xmas. Growing up, I remember it snowing on my Bday (10/4).

Anyone here from Buffalo?
They got 22 inches of snow last night!
We need to here from someone up there about how the beast drives.

It didn't snow quite as much, here... This is a good thing! Here's a picture. It had slowed down, by the time I got outside. :)
Apparently Detroit's gonna get smoked, tonight!! So we can have more 'GC SRT8 in the snow' stories!
Good luck at the track, Black_SRT8!

I may run again on the 28th. (last race day) I'm going to try a couple small changes and need to test them. Snow, I drove my Jeep home after a blizzard, brand new. (2/09/06) Driving home in 169 traffic worried me some and try to keep my foot out of it. Soap and Water and several hours cleaned it again like new! Be Careful! Gene
