Well, the time is finally around the corner with the production line about to start back up I hope. I hope to see mine before the end of this month. Keeping my figures crossed. Who else is waiting and how have you been taking this long and over due wait? Hopefully Jeep caught up with they're sales inventory ratio. Hopefully they focus on Jeeps already sold to clients first which would be the logical thing to do. SO CLOSE I CAN TASTE IT. :rolleyes:

Im hoping with you guys,keeping my fingers crossed Mine is in d1 status with a delivery date of sept 23.If it starts up oct 19 wondering how long it will take to finish the trucks.Good luck I will keep you posted if I hear anything,I learned this site is much more reliable than the dealers.

Sounds good to me. I've only been in one of them which was at the Chicago Autoshow last Feb. I had the opportunity to go in the Jeep SRT8 for the 0-30 mph test thing. I was in love with it since then. But, that is my only experience with the Jeep. Let me know if your ever in the area. I live in Cary and have my office next to Woodfield in Schaumburg.

I just got lucky. Found a black one in stock that the dealer would trade so I gave up my red one on order for the black which I can pick up this weekend. Had to take the rear seat entertainment which is the downside. I also read somewhere that black is faster!

GoodfatherSRT8- Thanks for the invite. I was a little late reading this since I've been really busy with work. I will have to meet up with you sometime to check out the baby. Still hoping to see mine in the next 3 weeks hopefully. Today's little snow storm was a real wakeup call for what we are in for this winter. I have a feeling that it will be a bad one this year. The 545i really doesn't handle well in the big storms even with the snow tires. Light to Med. stuff no problem but, from what I expect this winter to be the SRT8 should do the trick. Let me know the next time your out in Schaumburg or near Cary.
